Ours does not have Apple Car Play, that makes it even worse. You must have the 2017.

You are correct. We bought a 2017 in April of that year. I paid $1500 for the 100K warranty and am glad we got it. Not because the car is giving us issues, its' been perfect. But we drive 20-25K miles per year and have already hit the 36K OEM warranty just shy of 2 years with it.
I still think the lack of a volume knob was dumb. Interior packaging is fantastic though. Second row is great and third row is big enough to have my wife sit back there as I drive them all to the mountains. The safety stuff really helps as well, but only on long and somewhat empty roads.

Dual climate control and automatic lights
Any rumors on whether dual climate control (with auto temp regulation) or automatic lights are going to be included? I would miss those from my 2016 Taco TRD OR.

My 2017 has automatic lights so I am sure the 2020 will also have them.

Great! I love not having to turn on my lights and it automatically going from DRL to full lights. Now if it had dual zone heat so my wife doesn't cook me.

I see the same in regards to the dual auto climate control for the 2019 4Runners. The Pro doesn't have it. Only the Limited.

True - but this thread is about the 2020 Pro so I didn't specify that this might not apply to other trims.

I am not too optimistic about the 2020 Pro getting dual zone.
I solved the wife cooking me problem with telling her not to touch any buttons in the truck ;)

Thanks for the update. I just bought a 2019 TRD Pro because I was tired of waiting for a refresh (or partial refresh). What's funny is all of the misinformation out there when I did my research. Everyone had a different answer why the 4Runner (except Limited) was the only Toyota vehicle without Safety Sense and Push Button Start.

Here are the enhancements to 2020 TRD Pro. There is nothing more / nothing less. New generation is several years away -- at least (CAFE / world platform, etc.).
Everything the 2019 has plus:
-- TSS-P
-- 8 Inch Touchscreen w/ Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon / Waze
-- Smartkey / push button start
-- + 2 rear USB ports
-- New instrument panel
-- TRD Cat Back Exhaust
-- Army Green
+ Price increase.....

Hopefully a small increase. The bump to $47k MSRP for 2019 is already difficult to swallow.

In Colorado for a long while you would have been lucky to have found one for less that $52K because all the ass-hat dealers were adding $5K dealer mark up to them.
Now that the 2020s are getting closer that has going away, but you'd still have a hard time finding one from less than MSRP. Most are pre-sold before they even get to the lot.

Yep, I asked one dealer about a 2020 and they want 5K over MSRP for it. Found another dealer selling a 2019 without the 5K addendum, but they sold fast.
2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
MSRP:$51,510
MSRP:$47,510
Dealer Fee:+$499
Easy Price:52,009
