Anyone who has taken delivery of a 20 TRD PRO can you look at the spare tire and wheel? I saw some gopro footage of a 20 TRD PRO in Utah and it had a matching TRD wheel and Nitto tire as the spare. I (and others) assume this was in case of a flat, the journalist could still take photos. But wanted to confirm.

I just picked up a 2020 Pro. My spare is a steel rim with Bridgestone Dueler H/T. I didn't know the Pros came with a street tire spare. That's disappointing. Is this the same for all you Pro owners?
Edit: ok... how do I make these photos work...
Edit 2: photos work now i think

I like the new color but I'm not trading mine in! I guess another idea is to wrap it

Yes, my new '19 Pro has the same. It is slightly disappointing for the amount of money paid, but in the same breath, if you flat, were you really going to leave your spare on there? That's how I looked at it and just moved on.
Maybe if Discount tire has a sale I'll trade it out and grab a Nitto, but who knows what tires I'll have on there if I do ever flat one day (fingers crossed... hopefully not).

I actually reallllllllly don't like the sound of it when sitting inside and driving.
Unfortunately I didn't really take notice of the sound during the test drive because I didn't go through any hard accelerations. Slow accelerations are quiet for this exhaust, as I should've expected..
I traded in a 2018 Ram Power Wagon for this TRD Pro, and one of the complaints of the Ram 2500's with the 6.4 Hemi is the sound of the engine drone when MDS kicks in. MDS is the "Eco" feature of Hemi engines when it goes from 8-cylinders to 4.
That MDS drone in the 6.4 Hemi is annoying for almost everyone in any Ram truck forums. You can feel the drone kinda vibrating your head/bones/body, not to mention the annoying sound.
I hear and feel a much louder drone with the TRD Pro exhaust during hard accelerations. And as of now, I don't like it at all.
But.. I am blown away with Toyota's quality and attention to detail with almost everything else, so I am happy. I can always change out the exhaust easily.

Another positive thing I want to add about my 2020 Pro is about the brakes.
I drove a buddy's 2017 4Runner, test drove 2019 TRD Pros, and read the forums about the brakes. They all had the same thing in common, where the brakes would feel weird, light, and mushy for the first 1/3 or 1/2 or so, then the brakes would just chomp down and brake hard, causing vehicle dive and throwing your head forward if you were a 4Runner noob.
My 2020 brakes does not do any of that at all. They feel like any other modern vehicle brakes, and inspire confidence as soon as you touch the brake pedal.
Feeling those brakes were a very pleasant surprise. I hope my vehicle is not a one-off and that all 2020's are like that.

I beg to differ. While I like the green, I think it will look even that much better muddy and dirty.
I mean, it’s built up to be an off road vehicle. Gotta rep the mud spray, dust, and trail stripes with pride!

So no army green pros will be sitting on the lot here and some will not be able to get one even though they are willing to pay.

I’d be willing to bet that finding a dealer in the lower 48 selling at MSRP plus round trip flight and shipping costs would still be cheaper than the markup people will experience if they win that lottery and purchase on the island.

No mention of any changes for the breaks for MY2020... I really didn’t like my ‘17 TRDP breaks. It would be freaking amazing if it’s improved.

Brand new to the forum. I take delivery of my 2020 4Runner TRD Pro on Monday. I'm really excited for the vehicle. I haven't owned a Toyota since my 2006 Tacoma and I'm trading, of all things, my 2019 BMW X5 xDrive 40i for my Pro.
I've been looking at T4R Pros for a number of years, and I finally decided to pull the trigger. 8.1% discount off MSRP made my decision very easy.
Just wanted to say hello. I will post pictures Monday evening and try to have a writeup of initial impressions to follow.

CLT = Charlotte, NC. Not where the deal was done. I'm not comfortable posting the dealership in the open on the forum, but I don't mind sharing privately.

Wow, 8% off MSRP? Seriously, if you didn't live clear across the country, I'd give that a real hard look. Nice deal. Good on ya, mate!

Getting 8.1% off a 2020 Pro, that is incredible that they would sell that far below invoice but something tells me you paid for that discount on your trade value. Good luck though and enjoy
