No, stock Toyota lug nuts are not acorn lug nuts. I used Gorilla 41137B Acorn lug nuts. I too bought last November and just had them put on this week.
RR2-S gunmetal with black lip, offset -12. According to RRW, as long as the lug nut has a 60 degree conical seat, you'll be fine.

Ugh. So, I emailed RRW and they said I needed acorn conical ET (extended thread nuts) like in the attached pics. Turns out it doesn’t seat into the wheel - like the extended part is too wide to fit in the hole (and the conical surfaces don’t make contact). I’m guessing I need NON ET lug nuts. Frustrating that RRW would have given me the wrong information ..

Damn. I was really interested in their RR4-V all black, but getting second thoughts.

Any shops have these wheels for demo?

Also, Why are some of these wheel sites scared to show off the weight?! I hear they weigh 22lbs, then i hear they weigh 27lbs.
Which is it? Pretty sketchy company if they're avoiding facts for their future customers.

This is very sad to hear. I was falling in love with some of their wheels. Looked like the best complement to my new gray 4runner. Guess I'm looking elsewhere now

All in all I am very happy with the look. I am glad to have something different than the SCS which everyone has. I don’t know what the weight is but I doubt it is 27lbs..

I have the RR5-S, they are supposed to weigh 28 lbs, same as the stock SR5 wheels. They have a weight rating of 2500 lbs, though, so the extra weight came with a benefit.

So far, I like them.

I ordered a skid plate on black friday and had it by Dec 14 if i remember correctly.

I ordered their rr4 wheels in matte bronze and had them within 1 week.

I've e-mailed with different questions, one was about the lugs for their wheels and the CS rep sent me an amazon link for a recommendation since they were out of stock. Lugs worked perfect and i LOVE my wheels. I can't say enough good things about RRW.

I like the look of these wheels. What is your offset on these? Do you have a profile pic by chance?

Offset is -12.

I only got the -12 offset to have room between the tires and the JBA UCA's. Otherwise, if your UCA's allow, you can go with 0 offset, and have less rubbing conflict. Had I used 0 offset, it looks like I could have got by without a BMC, but it would have been close.

ETA some pics for you.

These look amazing. I want/wanted the same ones in 0 offset and gunmetal. How much lift do you have here?

Thanks!

About 2.75" / 1.0" Whatever the Eibach lift provides on it's lowest setting.

Thanks for the pics and info. I have stock uca's with 5100's and wheeler's coils for 2.5" lift up front with 285 wildpeaks. I would prefer not to do the bmc if possible, but I like how far these stick out of the wheel well. Decisions decisions...

One more question. Did you go w/ the black bolts on the faux beadlock or just take them off?

-12 offset, 8.5” wide rim width.

I do have 295/70r17 so this sticks out 5mm more than a 285/70r17 would.

I went ahead and did the BMC at the same time as mounting.

Personally, I think -12 or -10 is the perfect offset. I wouldn’t be happy with 0 I think. Many people run -38 but I don’t like that tire sticking out look.

They come either with (RR5-V) or without (RR5-S) the fake bolts. The model I got (RR5-S) is without.
