I thought the 2019's were 5th gens

I am so confused now. I know it's not April 1st. I bought a 2019 TRD Off Road Premium and I love it. I am unsure where to start, we don't do rock crawling, I have made a list of things I am planning on getting but I am unsure if they are going to better the vehicle and what order to do the build in. Here is the list:

Roof Rack
skid plates
a lift- I have no clue what a decent height will be good
trd wheels
fridge
rear bumper and front bumper and winch
sock sliders
dual battery - for the fridge, HAM radio, and lights

I would love to meet some local club members but down here I think the members are scarce.

You own a 5th gen. The 6th gen forum was created proactively as information slowly comes in from Toyota, so that people will stop cluttering the 5th gen forum arguing about what the 6th gen will or will not have.

This is pretty dumb. Why make a 6th gen section when it hasn't even been announced? Definitely feels like an April Fools joke.

Forum says 6th Gen (2019).

Why was it moved if the forum says 6th gen, 2019. That's dirty. I thought I was going to be the 1st.

I agree and the 5th gen forum stops at 2017. Oh well I guess everyone can't be good at math.

Listing the year probably wasn't needed but a 6th gen section is good for people asking questions early and posting new info as it comes out since the 5th gen was being discussed back in 2010 well before it actually came out.

In that case can we do a 7th Gen too because I'm curious about what may possibly be released at some point whenever?

My guy at my local Toyota dealership said not until 2030, and it will definitely have a diesel, ...or be all electric.

Since there's no more like button (WTF happened to that?). I'll just have to assume you liked this post.

With Tundra going hybrid I wouldn't doubt 6th gen will be or have a hybrid model. If they keep the 6th gen for over 10 years it's going to go into 2030 and some countries have even banned gas engine sales in the 2030s already.

I just really don't want anymore electric steering racks, some are good but I have experienced some of the new pickups and they are really bad.
