you will definitely need output distance measuring and also photos/videos of stock headlights with hids, leds, vs these. And then measuring the lumens.

I'm interested, if they're actually brighter than just swapping in an LED bulb

I'm in as well as long as the beam height is adjustable.

We are confident they will easily out perform (Wider, brighter) the OE headlights with an HID or LED bulb in them (in fact, we're a little nervous about that - since we sell a lot of those PNP upgrades!)
They will be fully adjustable vertically and horizontally too. All of the Morimoto XB headlights are.

If you're talking about the MLED projector, no, these are using completely different optics. They have 2 dedicated low beam projectors per headlight, and the inside one is a dedicated LED high beam projector.
The width of most of the XB headlights is a lot better than the MLED projectors on their own. In terms of intensity, well, thats TBD...but we'll make sure to do some good comparisons when something we can get our hands on more than just a prototype.

Any idea when you'll set up the group buy. Want to make it down so I don't miss it.

Well that definitely is a plus...just gotta see what the output comparison is like and the group buy price.

Would these also require holes to be drilled into the dust caps? I currently have your HID kit and like them, but would prefer to have a something that didn’t require the hole in the dust cap.

So any ideas on bulb longevity, replacement schedule, future costs and small parts availability post upgrade? Just started looking at the H11 HID / Extreme KIT for my runner. It's a much cheaper route than these, but I have to say, these look pretty darn good!

Do these LED projectors have removable LED bulbs or are they a chip like the MLED projectors?
