And I'm on the same page as you guys. These lights aren't what they SHOULD be, but they're *so much* better looking than stock and they work great for 95% of the driving I'm going to do. And my ridiculous BD fogs will handle the rest... until I get the side illumination hacked in

If the hack works, sell the patent to Morimoto!

To the guys experiencing hyper flash with the sequential signals- are all of you running led bulbs in the blinkers in the tails?
The instructions do acknowledge the likelihood of this happening due to unmatched impedance. If you’re running 100% OE tails and still have the issue though the sequential signal setup should work normally.
In either case, likely changing the resistor that’s on the back of the light for one with a higher rating would likely fix it, and no need to tap extra resistors into the wiring for the lights or OE circuits- that’s definitely not the best way to resolve that. We’re happy to work with you guys on a resistor swap at no charge too

How do I go about getting a resistor swap. Yeah, I’m running leds in my taillights. I’ve added a resistor inline with the drl bundle and that fixed the drl but not the sequential blinker issue. I’m also running resistors in my tails already.
Thanks

smoker's get smoke breaks so I do the same except instead of smoking I get a 10-15 minute walk in every few hours
Also, I'm a huge proponent of "work to live" not "live to work". Can't imagine I'll be laying on my death bed saying "man I wish I would have worked more".
Lazy? **** yes and it's amazing.

Don't get me wrong... I love my job. I work in an ER/Trauma for the military.
But breaks like that? HA . thats funny. Some days I don't pee until 8hrs into my 13hr shift because I don't have time to leave the patients. Lunch break? maybe just 5 minutes of shovelling food in at the nurse station.

Well, more power to you for doing the stuff people like me and others don't have the guts for but tend to take for granted
Pro tip: find a bush to pee in while your partner sews up the patient! jk

Pro-er tip: Why do catheters just have to be for patients?

You are way smarter than me! Can't believe I didn't even think of that.

So far I like them. Went with the solid turn signals. Will take more pictures when it gets dark tonight.

So I just talked to Mike at Xenon and they said they will be correcting the lighting issue in upcoming production. Looking forward to it! I'll buy them again.

Hmm interesting, especially since XenonDepot on here basically said that's just how the light pattern is with these kinds of lights along with the intensity plot that was posted.
If it's truly a "deficiency" that gets fixed in a later production run, kinda sucks to be screwed as what essentially amounts to being a beta tester.
Oh well, I'll be interested to see if anything actually changes in the later production run. Right now I'm fine with them as I haven't encountered any issues where the lights don't perform like they're supposed to. Granted, it's hard to drive at night with the sun going down so late. Winter in the PNW will be the real test.

@ XenonDepot
I've got a question. I really do want to buy another set but have been thinking. If for some dumb luck the new batch has issues, can you ask Morimoto if they will give full refund including return shipping and comp us for our trouble?
Being a beta tester with bad results cost me time for install/ aiming correctly, test driving etc and a hundred to ship them back. not a pleasant experience. I know Xenon has to be less than thrilled as you are just the middle man!
For those sending them back, Paypal will reimburse 30 bucks of your return shipping

If they are going to fix the issue on upcoming versions, I will probably contact XD and send mine back. I opened only one headlight to take a look. I'm currently running their HID's for low beams, their LED's for DRL/ high beam and the Morimoto fogs...I'm happy with that setup now. If the newer versions are fixed, I'll definitely buy a set

You mean they didn't pay for return shipping?? That's just bad business practice! I may just have to sell them to someone on here
