I have a 3 hoop bumper and I was able to move the upper grill forward enough to remove the light housing with the bumper on.

I'm assuming the one of mine that is flickering will die shortly too - we've had her lights in since November, mine since early January.

Just had the same LED go out in my drivers side headlight. Seems like this may be a design flaw, as several have had the same LED go out. I hope Xenon Depot will respond once I report it.

Just finished up getting my new headlight installed. Overall the return/replacement process has been pretty painless from the customer service side of things. I wouldn’t want to rip another headlight out anytime soon though. Xenon Depot responded to my request the next day, and had a new headlight out to me within a week or so. Just have to drop my old headlight off at UPS now.
No deposit was needed on my end (like a core charge), and a label was provided for printing. All in all, this went much smoother than expected. The replacement headlight appeared to be new as well... although it could have been a renewed light. I saw no signs of previous use.

It’s crazy how much some of their stuff is. I was looking at a set of their taillights, because you can actually get them blacked out (the depos aren’t) but the damn things are near $1000. That’s insane

I didn’t know they also sold taillights, I quite like the OEM assemblies. They are expensive but the difference in light output and where it puts that light is amazing. Mine have the 5.0 D2S projectors, which require some modification to the radiator support but it’s worth it. I’ve had them through rain, snow, and multiple drive through car washes and no signs of leaking yet.

It should do just that when you have the stalk set to DRL. Did you use the included DRL harness? Otherwise, it won’t turn on until the “parking light” setting on the stalk is selected.

I think you need the rig powered on and in drive for the DLR to come on

Thanks for the reply. I think I installed the DRL harness correctly into the fuse box. If not, the DRL would not function, right?
I have the stalk set at DRL on. When I start the engine, I would assume the DRL would be on, but it doesn't. It only goes on at the second click up, which activates the amber parking light as well.
Am I doing something wrong?

Is your parking brake on? Also the DRL harness is only needed for the super bright DRL stalk setting. The strip would operate with the parking lights even without the harness.... I think. It’s been a while since my install.

Yep, park brake was it. Thanks! Now to put everything back on and go through the aiming process.

Additional update from me on the XB headlights. I'm on my 2nd set in my wife's car and 2nd set in mine - so in total 4 pairs of headlights. The DRL diode in the upper left passenger side and upper right driver's side has failed in all 4 pairs of headlights.
The first 2 sets were replaced under warranty from XenonDepot/Morimoto - this process took nearly 2 months with multiple PMs here, phone calls, emails, etc before I finally got a response. I was promised this was a manufacturing issue on the 2 early sets, and that the issue had been addressed.
The diodes in the replacement sets have begun to fail progressively over the last 2.5 weeks - so clearly this is not a resolved issue.
At this point I would just request a full refund from XenonDepot and replace the headlights with Kustom54. However, since it took XenonDepot 2 months to respond to a warranty claim for replacement, I don't hold out a lot of hope for a refund. I'm also pretty tired of taking the front end of the vehicles apart and wasting 3+ hours of my weekends.
Overall, the headlights look nice, good concept - but there are significant and consistent issues with reliability and manufacturing QC. Coupled with terrible customer service from XenonDepot/Morimoto - these headlights are absolutely not worth the cost and headache.

I'm glad I don't have any LED doohickeys from TRS/Xenon Depot anymore. Customer service was atrocious. Tons of calls, emails, etc every few weeks trying to get replacements for parts under warranty. I filled out a new request form on the website and referenced the original claim number. Finally got through to them and was told that any email responses I sent without receiving one first pushed my request to the bottom of the queue. Huh? So I'm just supposed to twiddle my thumbs for a month waiting for my request to float to the top, and any questions about status would bump it to the bottom? And they'd only answer phones for 2 hours a day. Bizarre.
Now I'm using H9 bulbs that are brighter and project further, and I can pick them up for $8 at the auto parts store. No more of this instagram lighting bullshit for me.

Well my second headlight has failed. Same problem as last time, the corner led failed. Additionally, the lens has turned yellow in five months. They are now requiring a 380 dollar refundable deposit to replace the defective units. This was not required last time. Ultimately seems anti consumer since it potentially prevents people from getting a replacement. They have the option of you sending the defective unit back first, but who wants to drive around for weeks without a headlight?
I’ve had my headlights about 10 months, and have had a failure every 5 months. I’m not enthused.
