Each side needs to come up at least the maximum three turns to be equivalent to stock height if you marked the stock beams on a wall before disassembly.
How do you adjust it? There were no directions with the kit.

The adjuster is pictured and called out on the last page. In my experience it's easier to get to the adjuster using a smaller 8mm 1/4" socket and small extension.

I found it with a Google search, but thanks. Yes, much, much better! Wow, they need to put that with instructions in each box!

It came with mine but can't say that I read it beforehand.

Well, like I said, I got mine on the pre-sale so that may be why it came with no instructions. Thanks for your help though, I don't have to send them back after all!

Yes, adjustment is important. Also, I wouldn't recommend depending on BD squadrons to see on the street. Those are strictly offroad lights and they produce horrendous glare for any oncoming traffic.

Two LEDs have failed and are flickering in and out on my driver's side headlight. Apparently warranty claims must be handled through the authorized retailer....so far, no response from Xenon Depot....

I pinged them about an issue I'm having with my DRLs not working, no response either.

While all things can go bad, what makes or breaks a company is how they resolve the problem.

XD appears quick on the draw when it comes to flogging their stuff, but appear to have failed miserably when it comes to customer support following a problem.

I’m glad to see that I wasn’t the only one that had to adjust it the max three turns straight out of the box. I was a bit annoyed by this because it doesn’t leave anymore room for adjustment in the future but figured I would only need to adjust it down if I ever leveled or lifted the truck. As far as I know, there shouldn’t be a case where I would have to raise it higher. I played it safe at 2.75 turns, did you set yours at the max 3?

Sent an email out to my local authorized vendor that I purchased these from. One of the LED diodes for the DRL on my passenger side went out. Considering how time consuming it is installing these, I may just swap back my stocks for now. Only had them installed since November.

Keep us updated if you have success getting a warranty replacement. I’m hoping XD responds quickly, I have the Morimoto XB in my wife’s LE and my ORP - I’m hoping this doesn’t become a common issue with LED failure across the product.

Please don't aim headlights based on the number of turns you count. Find some flat ground and a wall, and aim them properly using Toyota's method.

Unrelated to the XB headlights, but one of my 2stroke 2.0 LED bulbs was flaking apart. TRS sent instructions to destroy the bulb by cutting it apart and taking a picture of the serial number, which I did. It's been over a week and they haven't returned any of my emails since then. Cool I guess?

I didn’t base it off of the number of turns, I based it off the stock headlight cutoff. Mine are a tad under stock as I didn’t want to set it at the max number of rotations - hence the question.
