I would also suggest you call Bilsteins to confirm the specs on the two different model springs to see what are the specs difference.g.
Thanks! I may have created a wrong impression, I am not having any issues at all but rather a learning experience. Cinder Hills is very unusual terrain and they still performed far better than stock. Yesterday, we drove a variety of dirt road terrain, including a high clearance dirt road. The 6112s were perfect in both performance and comfort. That was the kind of terrain I really wanted to see the 6112s in.

I did call Billstein and they all seem to check out. The springs do have the FJ part number but they said that FJ and 4R springs are both 14" and 600lb.

So all is good! I don't think I will learn much more till the winter though.

Does anyone know if the increased height with the 650lb coil is including the extra weight(80-150lb) or without weight. Trying to get 2 in of lift with 120lb front weight. Is that setting clip 3 or 4 with the new 650lb coils? May need to call bilstien tomorrow.

Keep us posted on what they say. Driver is always a tad higher than passenger unless you have kdss.

I have FJ TRD pro suspension on my 4runner. I was thinking about upgrading to a c4 lopro bumper with winch. Is this spring going to achieve additional lift of .7?

I also have a cornfed 1.5 spacer on it... can I still use the spacer or is the added height and # just going to help with the additional weight?

47-284142 has 700 lb springs and has a lot more control in the valving. and yes it will work on 4th gen 4runners
