Two questions:
1) Any chance the new batch is going to be ready in the next month? I have a big trip coming up toward the end of April and would love to get a set of these and get them installed.
2) What kind of lateral load can these handle? I have no doubt they can handle a recovery from directly behind the vehicle, but what if it has to have a slight lateral component. Can these handle that?

Price is $90 shipped for a pair and $50 for a single. PM me for payment details. They are about a month out from shipping.
Next batch price is increasing $5 due to material cost increases.

We haven't had any issues with strength. These are ridiculously beefy 1/2" steel with M12 grade 10.9 bolts. It'll hold up to any angle of pull. If anything the frame is the weak point IMO.
We should receive them in about a month, and shipping is fast, so it depends on how fast the shop can get them fabricated.

Thanks. Going to try and decide one way or another in the next day or so. I want a set, but the lead time is really a problem for me unfortunately. I don't know if I can wait that long on them.

Since you're a new member I can't PM you. I think you can contact the admin to allow that. Or get up to 10 or 15 posts.

We're fresh out of recovery points for this batch, but we still have a number of people interested so we might do another sooner rather than later.
Thanks everybody! Reply below if you are interested in the next round, or see this thread.

I'd like a pair!
EDIT (4 months later - I am slow!):
I received my Recovery Points, and debated how to finish them. Like many, I've painted my Hooks etc over the years, but road-spray and time always take their toll :-(
This time around, I opted to have a local zinc-plating company clean and barrel-plate my Recovery Points, then enhance protection with trivalent chromium top-coat. They look kinda flashy :-O but my main concern is weather-durability.

We put an order in to have another batch made. ETA 4 weeks.
PM me to arrange payment.
Prices went up to $55 for a single $95 for a pair due to steel prices.
Thanks!
