James here from Energy Suspension.... very cool to see forum members making their own adaptations!
Something to look for in the future, this is still a little while off, but the new Rockflex bump stop is going to be available for 4Runners around the end of the year. It's a progressive rate bump that will give you the same rate as an MCU bump at first, then gradually stiffen up. You won't feel a hard hit, rather, a smooth engagement.
We have already released the bump for the Jeep JL, it has a molded in metal washer base that will allow you to use it with almost any single-bolt application. We have plans to release it for Toyota later this year, but early adopters have already fitted them to the 4Runners.
Part number has been released, but I'm not at work right now. I'll have to post it later. It just barely arrived to market.
Here's a video from the SEMA show for their debut on the JL.
The very next adaptation of this part will be a Toyota IFS version and a rear two-bolt adapted version. The kicker will be the new rear coil bumps featuring rock-flex, that will fit 3rd-5th generation 4Runners.
We also already make high-articulation 3-piece rear arm bushings for 3rd and 4th gen factory arms, I've got approval to bring in a 5th gen to our facility for R&D sometime this year.
I managed to get hold of some of the JL prototypes, lobbed off the top of them, then tested them out on my 3rd gen IFS at the Hammers with great results. Can't wait to get an IFS specific version to market!
Any updates on these ???

FWIW - the rears could be upgraded to the GX460 rear bumps. GX air spring models don't have internal bumps in the air springs, so they put a larger and softer bump on the frame rail. They are around $50 ea.

The 48036-60011 seems to me to be the ticket. I might need to order me up some of those. I'd love to see a photo of it installed on a 4th Gen. I think it would suit the 1.5 inch lift I have on the rear with what looks like a spacer built in. Thanks for the Heads up.
I was going to order GX stocks ones but I knew Eibach rear bump stops would be available this year. I got my bach bumps at an introductory price. I figured I would benefit more with the longer design since I'm closer to ~2.5" rear lift and being poly instead of hard rubber. I do like how the stock GX bumps are curved.

I called Eibach sales directly and spoke to Tanner, they weren't available separately online at the time since it was part of their new adjustable rear spring kit.
part # from invoice: AK31-82-071-BMP
I'm sure you can email Tanner and ask him to set you up [email protected]

Is there two different part # for LH and RH side? How are these been working for you?
