Yea, from that angle it doesn't look as severe. It must just be the ratio of sidewall vs the 275's that I am running. It looks great!

I'm really digging this setup. Will you have a chance to get it out offroad soon? Dying to know how it handles off road with those coils.

Did you have to trim anything for the 285s?

Nothing yet but I have not gotten a chance to flex the suspension. No rubbing at this point.

As soon as I get a chance I will post my opinion in this thread. On road, the suspension feels almost stock with just a little bit more stiffness and less nose dive.

Could you do the measurements from your center hubs to fenders? This will eliminate the tire height. You are right at 3" taller then me completely stock. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. So the front I measured just couple notches over 22 3/4 and the rear I measured 23 even.

It's a Rhino Rack.

You will really enjoy this set up. I think it's the best way to lift a TRD Pro without spacers or spending extra money on a whole new suspension. TRD Pro owners already paid for a sweet suspension from factory, why rip out the whole package.

Where did you pick up your springs only, all the searches return complete sets. Or did you get them off another member like the OP?

Yes I bought them off of a member that upgraded to 650#. There was another set for sale in the classified the other day. There is also a member selling a set of 14"X3" 600# TRD spring too. They are from an FJ ultimate trail kit. I would have gotten those if I would have seen them first, for the simple fact that they are red.

I really wanted to get those from you but the 13" springs won't give you the 2" lift that the 14" will.

I am in vegas but looking for the 14” for the added lift. These rocks out here make the trails a little rough. Do you have the t13s?

We can get those too, but they are more than double in cost as they arent take off springs. To achieve what OP did, all you need is the standard 6112 springs, for 2" of lift you are probably best off with the new Bilstein 53-291387 650x14 springs - BILSTEIN 6112 / 8112 Heavy Rate Spring Upgrade Now Available! PN 53-291387

Don’t you think that would be a bit stiff with no added weight?
