Over the weekend I had my Toytec spacer lift swapped out in favor for the 6112 coils. I gained about 1/2” lift in the front and have fallen in love with the feel of the truck now. It’s a more solid feel, much less nosedive under braking and less body roll through turns.

Pics to come!

Thats awesome. Glad you were able to find some. Bilstein should just start selling them.

Has anybody else tried the FJPro springs? Following another Pro owners lead I tried the FJ springs on my truck. They are supposedly 14" x 600# vs the 13" 4Runner springs. I also added the Toytec TRD Pro lift (perch & top hat spacer) and 2" superflex rear springs.

Here's my post:

Yeah those are the same specs as the 6112 springs, and are probably both made by Eibach. I do like the fact that they are branded TRD and are red. Would have gone with those if I could have found a set at the time.

You can get them new from most dealers. I got mine from McGeorge in VA for around $200 for the pair.

But are they enough to provide 2-2.5" of lift over stock and still handle the added load of a winch and hybrid bumper?

I currently have icon 2.5s in front with a winch and sso bumper. I dropped 1/2 an inch with the added weight. The icon coils are softer than the 6112 coils so compared to a stock trail or sr5, i'd expect a 2 1/4 lift with that equipment. Compared to a pro, which is already lifted 1/2 an inch, you'd probably be looking at a 1 3/4" gain.

Was that the full front Toytec from Pro lift? (thicker spring perch under the spring, and 1/4” spacer above the strut?

What size tires are you running, and would you mind measuring the height of the fender opening directly above the center of the wheel (from the ground)?

Thanks!

Anyone know where to find the 6112’s without the springs? I bought the TRD FJ Pro Kit last year when Toyota was clearing them out and would like to use those 14” TRD springs with the 4Runner shocks to raise the front more since I’ve settled.
