Absolutely correct. After doing it, I would have to say it would be damn near impossible to install the arms with the bumper on, I can’t even fathom how you would torque down the spindle bolts with the bumper on. Glad to hear they are going to machine new spindle supports, I would like another set when they do. They are aluminum pieces, and as strong as I rationally know aluminum is, there is just so much dynamic weight being asked to support from (4) bolts, it would just be nice to have a second set just in case, especially since they are custom built.

Yah for sure Lawndart mentioned that we should ask to see if he can make them out of steel for that reason.

I'm also missing the actual spindle unless it's already on the bumper. I haven't had a chance to unwrap anything. Which is why I'm looking for the guide to confirm what I have and don't have.

So the spindle is actually 4 separate pieces. The spindle bearing carrier is made up of two machined aluminum pieces that attach the swing arms to the bumper via 4 bolts each (what you are missing). These two pieces bolt together to form the complete spindle. Inside the spindle there are 2 tapered roller bearings that need to be greased and inserted into the inner swing arm pivot. Then there are 2 machined aluminum center spindle spacers that have O rings to essentially seal in the bearings that slide into the spindle housing before you bolt each one into the swing arm. I will send you a scanned copy of the instructions along with the parts lists I took pictures of before I opened all the bags.

I actually received a Tacoma latch instead of the 4Runner one which I’m hoping Jerry can swap out for me. I was also missing a machined Delrin slide piece for the latch and a license plate light kit. The latch I would consider the only priority.

DM'd you on IG with an image of them. Evan handed them to me separately they weren't wrapped up in the bumper.

I got the supports, but the hardware was missing, just some bolts, nuts, washers, but it was highly recommended to me to get grade 9 and not the standard grade 5.

I ended up buying a shit ton of hardware due to where I went for the bolts (only sold in bulk), so Rico, if you only got the supports and not the bolts, and you end up picking up the rubber trim pieces for the bumper edges I’ll give you the grade 9 hardware too.
