Yeah, that's what I do. It is pretty sturdy and I really need the D-ring adapter. Last blizzard we had I had to use it several times to help out people just in my neighborhood.

I had a set of TC's lower A-Arm skids on my 2005 and pulled them off before selling that 4Runner.

I finally got under my 2018 and checked for fit and all I need are longer bolts (and drilling the one hole to 3/8") The 5th Gen's lower A-arms appear to have the same dimensions as a 4th Gen except for height or "thickness".

I hope to purchase new bolts today and complete the install.

Why doesn't TC list the existing 2003 - 2010 skids as being compatible with 5th Gen 4runners?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We know they aren't KDSS compatible but it's certainly possible they can fit the other 2010+ models with little or no modifications. We'll report back with what we find.

Well, I found they fit my 2018 non-KDSS pretty well

Drilling the third hole is a little effort because the alignment of the skid is not perfect. I drilled a small pilot hole then used a 7/16 drill to finish things off. The bolt lengths are a bit longer than before because the A-Arm is a bit taller
