I can place a 26" dog crate on the sleeping platform and it still fits. I removed the seat bottoms and backs to install the sleeping platform on the 60 side as it provides more storage underneath. I hope these pictures help.

Thank you for sharing.
That is a friggin ton of storage space. I'm not sure I would want to sacrifice the headroom but it's cool to see these setups on rigs. It's useful real world data to help with our own setups.
I love how clean these systems are. I just need to be in a higher tax bracket

I love the idea of the drawers and the space created under the rear seats when you completely remove the seats, but I simply can't give up the head room for the dogs or myself when back there. I am glad that I went with the low platform after seeing pics for reference. If it were just myself and no dogs I would have chosen the standard height with 10" drawers.

Trekbox has a sleeping platform option, though it's quite expensive
Here's my setup (the dog's bed behind the driver's seat was made by me, not trekbox)

That is f*cking nice. Thanks for sharing I've personally never seen that option before.

@ transistor
I did not see any full cabin options on their site. Only cargo area. Did you get that custom built?

Thank you for the pictures. This is very similar to the system I'm planning to install on my T4R and it's great to visualize how it may look. I am also worried about the headroom and clearing fridges and other cargo when the fridge isn't installed. Spoke to Goose Gear today and they said that the 10" drawers come to about the height of the wheel well and have around 6.5 inches of usable internal height. In your experience so far, how has the drawer height and volume been? I'm deliberating between the 8" and the 10". Also, which dometic fridge do you run? I plan on running a 40-50L fridge on an Alu cab drop down slide and just wanted to make sure that I didn't loose flexibility with the 10" as far as clearing heights are concerned (for the fridge and for stacking duffels or suitcases when fridge is not installed). If you didn't want a sleeping platform and just used the drawers would you still stick with 10" or go down to 8"?

How do you guys find the elevated sleeping platforms? Underbed storage is fantastic+probably needed, but I've only slept in my 4runner one weekend so far, and it was just on the base... giving up that headroom would just suck! I'm not claustrophobic but it would surely be so uncomfortable and whatnot
I choose car camping over tent-beside-car camping because of comfort, and it kind of seems like at that point I'd just go with a tent.

I really really tried to like the sleeping platform given how much I spent on it, but I ended up just buying a tent. Having to slide in and out of the car, get shoes on, and especially change, was just way to much of a PITA to make it worth it. I'm so much more happy being in a tent now. If I was using the base platform without drawers it may be more reasonable, but I would consider drawers to be required to have enough space for equipment.

I really like the idea of the GG but I ended up going with the Boss Strong Box. I ordered it last week for 20% off and I really want the cargo space. I think I am going to build a frame of equal height that I'll use with the seats down to create the remainder of the platform for sleeping. My wife and I usually use a tent but she wanted a platform for some of her photography adventures. I just couldn't see spending so much $ for something that we wouldn't always use. The storage is something we will always use. I like the idea that the Strong Boxes are steel. Goose Gear looks awesome though.

Thanks. I typically load on either side with nothing in the middle so I figured why bother buying more tools and just zipped it in.
