My SCS wheels with -10 offset and 4.30 backspace are even with the top of the fender. The sides of the lower fenders are slightly in compared to the tire so it all depends on what you call "even". I like this look, but as others have said it will require some light trimming or BMC depending on which UCA's you have and how it is aligned. I had to remove my mudflaps and do some minor trimming on the front bumper and fender liner mod but no BMC.

The pictures make 0 and -10 look about the same. On my Tacoma, the sidewall was even with the top of the fender flare.

So who got some wheels with -10 offset and 4.1 BS?
My (terrible) math had them sticking out a shit load. Now this thread got me more confused.

FX Pro 17x8 wheels with 4.5" backspacing and 0mm offset fit just inside the fenders with Falken Wildpeak A/T3. This wheel is specific fit for 4th and 5th gen 4runners for larger tires and no spacers. The tire design can also impact this some as a tire with a lot of side lugs/features can stick out more at the sidewall and still be a 285 tire.

If you mean -10 with 4.3 inch backspace it is everyone with SCS wheels. I haven't found a wheel with -10 4.1. Shouldn't make much of a difference anyway.

If you're talking about the 17x9 -38 3.5BS, there is no way those will fit without modification. If you're looking at putting those on you should probably be prepared for bumper trimming, fender liner mod, mud flap removal and bmc. But damn they look so good

F5's have had the 17x9 -38s for a while so you should be able to ask someone who has them. Should be the exact same with the new Ray10s.

I have almost the same specs but with -10 offset Level 8 MK6. To me with the 285 Wildpeak I notice tire wall poke past the fenders.

Not only does flush depend on what tire brand you choose and what offset rims you decide to run, your eyes may play tricks on you, depending on how you view a vehicle from straight ahead or from the rear or from the sides.
FLUSH
https://www.toyota-4runner.org/attac...285s-flush-jpg
POKE:
https://www.toyota-4runner.org/attac...-not-flush-jpg
Rims spec: f5 17x8.5 -12 offset w/ 1.25 spacers, which puts my offset close to -40.
IMHO: 0 offset is flush with the fender (depending on tire), but not when viewed from different angles.
-12 offset gives you a little bit of pokage (depending on tire) and look flush from most angles.
-38 gives you about 1 and 1/2 inches of pokage (depending on tire), and will also look poked out when viewed from most angles (except when I take a photo of my rig from the front or rear).

With 285 on 8" wide -10 offset your tire tread will be sitting directly under the fender. The tire wall poke will be exposed beyond the fender.
I recommend you maxing out your caster above 4.0 with after market ucas to prevent body mount contact on reverse full locked decline driveways turns. You might hear a slight front fender liner rub but that can be remedied. Freeway driving would feel solid as well.
Yes tire models like bfg k02 will have a skinnier profile but you get the idea. I believe it's more accurate to judge the poke from the rear with the assistance of the the body lines but yes our eyes do play tricks on us.
My buddy has the f5 -38 and he required a bmc on 285 70 17 C nitto ridge grapplers. Caster set to D: 4.2 P: 4.4

I know to each their own, but I think your set up looks perfect.
