Have you filed a grievance with ups about that? I just received my front skid plate from Greenlane, and it was wrapped in foam, then cardboard, then plastic wrapped. Id say the blame is on ups for the damage in shipping for your sliders.

Yes, I've talked to both UPS and the owner of Green Lane. He has been exceptional. I'm going to swap them out for a new undamaged set. Since I'm close to Victoria, I'm just going to drive up and get them to avoid UPS.

The sliders themselves are beautifully designed and manufactured. Once I get them on, I'll do a small write up and post some shots.

Again, the owner is superb to deal with. Great customer service.

I have the sliders and skid plate. I chose them because corrosion is an issue in my area and wanted something light weight. The sliders sit very close to the rocker, so not much help as a side step for my 5' wife. She's still getting used to using the handle on the pillar. The lighter weight made everything to install, I think they look nice, and the craftsmanship is good.

Much easier to rip a vendor on the forums first before giving them a chance to make it right...way to go!!!

Those look great and stout enough for a High-lift. How much weight per side?! I have All-Pro's and they are about 46 a piece in steel which is good for not being Aluminum.

I should have weighed them. My guess would be somewhere around 25 lbs per side.

so its 25lbs over OEM side steps?

OEM trail side steps are ~20lbs each

so if each GLO slider is 25lbs each, you gain a net of 10lbs. Very good.

Now i just need to break the OEM ones

I have steel RCI skid plates and I weighed them. 60 lbs driver 50 lbs passenger. 10 lbs less on passenger because of KDSS, I assume it's 60 lbs a piece without KDSS. So if the aluminum ones are 25 lbs, that's very light.

OK finally had a chance to install.

GreenLane has a second design - a slider with a bump out. They are the same aluminum construction, but just a different design. You can get them with a full top plate, partial, or none. Design and construction is outstanding. I'm super happy with how they turned out.

They are 22 pounds each. Some shots for those interested:

Unfortunately not strong enough to use a hi lift. I emailed them and they said they wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise I would buy these in a heartbeat.
