Is this group buy still a thing? I live in Minneapolis and want the sliders and skid plate from Greenlane.

The lighter weight made everything to install, I think they look nice, and the craftsmanship is good.

How did you decide between the flat rockers and the ones that are angled 12degrees and have the bump out? I am torn. Any regrets so far on these?

I originally bought the flat ones. I drove up to get them at his factory (nice ferry ride from Seattle) and when I saw a truck with the 12 degree angle I changed my mind - they looked a lot better and were a bit tighter to the truck as a result. He was great and swapped them out no questions asked.

Here's a photo. They were half plate, which I like.

The work well as steps to get into the car (kids) and as a step to get at the roof for me. Very satisfied.

So did you take the ferry from Port Angeles or is there a car ferry to Victoria from Seattle? I am thinking of doing the same thing to avoid shipping cost and possible shipping damage (unless this Group Buy thing is happening)

I did both. I drove up to Tsawwassen, took the ferry over to Swartz Bay, drove to his shop, compared the various sliders (he just happened to have a bunch back from the powder coating place ... I got lucky), threw them in the truck, and then took the Sydney - Anacortes back and drove home.

(Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay is BC Ferries, Sydney - Anacortes is WA State Ferries).

The timing was perfect - almost no waiting for the ferry home. You can make reservations but the fall schedules are different so plan accordingly.

The Sydney - Anacortes is a super beautiful route and relaxing trip if you catch a day that's not cloudy.

The owner is a very cool dude that does his own offroading, so it was fun to meet him.

So, I received my angled sliders and full front skid from Greenlane. Shipping and packaging was great. I was so excited. But after install I noticed several issues. The front skid no longer has the 3 holes for your stock radiator guard that is adverstised on their website and all over YouTube as a main feature to the product. I was told to drill the holes my self. Ridiculous. Also one of the 6 holes that bolt to the underside didn't line up with the trucks predrilled holes. Not the biggest deal for my purposes, 5 of 6 should be enough, but still frustrating to know. Idk. I was all Greenlane, but after this experience I feel just ok about it. Didn't feel Donovan (owner? customer service?) did much to rectify my situation.

That sucks. Poor customer support is one thing, holes not being drilled or not lining up is another...

Group Buy

I was looking for the Group Buy as I am interested in a set of Sliders. Does anyone have any information on it? Any discount codes?

Interested in this group buy, from the Twin Cities, also...

According to a thread in the Group Buy section, https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3360728-post19.html this group buy was deleted, as were quite a few other ones.

If you read the thread in the link above there is some discussion on what it takes to post a group buy thread, and apparently the Greenlane one didn't meet some requirement.
