I agree with you. My truck will never have glass for that reason. It looks “almost” stock to the untrained eye. Most people don’t even notice anything crazy about it at meets or wherever until they notice the bypass up front. The only thing stock fenders really limits you on is tire size, especially with aftermarket wheels. I have 275/70/17 bfgs and eat my fenders at full bump. I know a few guys that keep the stock trail wheels or run the TRD forged wheels and can fit 34x10.5/17s with zero rub. I may have to switch to something similar.

Got started on the rest of the sound insulation this afternoon. Just waiting on more material to be delivered. Very straightforward interior to disassemble compared to work.

Sound deadening completed. Night and day difference in road noise as far as I’m concerned. Extremely satisfied. Took me a total of about 4 hours start to finish.

Here’s a link to a video my brother put together of the truck late last year. Don’t think it’s been posted on here yet

Jacob Russell on Instagram: “Quick trip to #ocotillowells yesterday with the siblings. Got this #4runner dialed in pretty well now 🤘🏻 #totalchaos #ssbuilt…”

I've had my heart set of the +3.5, but I gotta admit, the +2 is growing on me for the exact reasons you mentioned.

She boogies pretty good dude! Lol wife is wanting the kit too now

funny how good a smaller travel kit will run with solid tuning vs a stupid travel number kit with terrible shock valving.

Very impressive so far. I'll keep an eye out for you in OC and Baja.

All over really. Most of it was shot between Holmes camp and devils slide in in the various canyons and washes. Some of in in San Felipe wash. Some of it over by pole line.

Thanks. I was wanting to do a similar run. Not that I am in the same league but to see my suspension in action would be neat.

I do have a GPX file of where I drove that day if you’re using leadnav or something similar. Would be happy to send it over. It’s just a large loop with random back and forth lines where we filmed but it would give you exactly where I went haha.

Your build is looking really badass!

I have a question about your iPad mount. I tried a google search for 3D Designs diamond mount but I'm mostly getting wedding rings Would you be able to post a link to where you got yours from? Thanks in advance!

The deed is done. GFC will be ready near the end of June as long as production goes according to plan. Trying to figure out what ladder to go with now. I’ve been told a hatch ladder is the better option than GFC’s. Leaning towards the C4 one at the moment.
