Busted a shock mount in Lucerne this weekend. I’ll post some pictures of how I plan on upgrading it later in the week. I’m thinking thru bolting and possibly double shearing it. Along with moving my bumps down.

Crazy! I guess +15 offset is the key! Now only if the spare space was bigger

There are unsealed cab drain holes?
I did see unsealed holes for the wiring attachment clips under the door molding, figured I would silicone them at some point.

There are random holes for cab drains that do have plugs, but when I had the carpet up I ran a bead of silicone around them for good measure. So I guess to answer your question they are “sealed” from the factory but I don’t really know how sealed that plug would be when going that deep.

I did the same thing in Moab. The drill through and mount with a bolt option does work and did work for me for awhile, but then I switched over to using a TeraFlex lower shock bar pin eliminator kit for an XJ. I was able to move the lowest part of the shock up about 1.5" and haven't had any issues. I welded it on the flat part above where the original lower shock mounted- lots of room. The two bolt holes on the mount area serve as rossette weld points, and then perimeter weld.
Just another option that has served me well.

It’s actually +6mm offset. I have the same wheels. They are perfect for the 4Runner.

Kellan Meadows at Envy Motorsports (@dirtdreamer on Instagram)
To whom it may concern. BE careful with this guy.
He scammed me out of 2442.00 on shocks that were never sent.
He scammed 6 others out of rims, racing seats, and shocks.
we are all going after him in the state of CA to hopefully put an end to this guy and hopefully protect anyone else he scams.
so far the total from people is above 20,000 plus more that just gave up trying to contact him since he moved. The federal trade commission is still trying to find him since it was online fraud and I am not stopping until some kind of justice is done.
