If anyone is interested...
**sold**
I just received my T8 ... but think I'm going to go with the 2019 Kenwood.
If anyone is interested, I'll sell this one for $350 (I paid $429).
I'll post this in the classifieds too -- just getting a "feeler" here.
I painted it to match the Trail interior dash ... but it didn't come out as glossy as the OEM. Also, the paint finish is pretty smooth, but not OEM quality good see pics.

Have you not seen the reviews???? This thing is total garbage. Bluetooth is practically unusable.

Other then rebooting every once in a while, my Entune works as advertised. I'm not in love with it but damn sure better dealing with the 100 issues this thing has. But hey its your money so flush it as you see fit.

People are right. Stay away from this unit. Even trying to back out of a parking spot it takes it time to turn on and you’re just waiting for the screen. Now I’m getting a startup screen saying ‘Update’ every other time I turn on the truck. Seeing how returns work now - really happy I kept my old head unit. The CarPlay dongle seems to lose connection as well, not to mention the lack of support for the product. Even at $400 it’s not a good value.

Out of curiosity, have you tried putting the truck into reverse before the head unit boots? On mine the camera pops right up no matter how far into the boot process you are. You don't have to wait for the unit to boot completely before the camera will show up.

So does anyone using this thing have a USB Cell dongle attached for dedicated cellular service to the unit?
I am wondering if anyone has gotten an "unlocked" one, or older AT&T one to work with it on the AT&T network?
Supposedly Verizon has a current one that will work, but since I don't have a Verizon account, it would be $70 a month.... yeah, negative.
Any other suggestions for getting dedicated Cell service (I heard ODBII dongles are a security risk?) to this HU with AT&T?
Thanks!

Not with AT&T, but I have a Verizon Jetpack that I mounted where the cigarette lighter used to be, connected via USB. Works great. I hope that answers 1/2 of your question; I may be reading it wrong.

my face when it turns out that a head unit with a dated, underpowered processor, being advertised by people who were getting undisclosed kick backs, turns out to be not that great

Has anyone confirmed the wiring hardness will work on a 2010-2013 4-Runner with the Non JBL Navigation Premium package head unit?
Thanks in advance!

Could a custom harness be created to allow me to use the head unit in my 2012?
Love the clean look of the unit.
