Opinions?
I have a 2016 4runner TRD Pro, wanna do a 2 inch spacer lift, corn fed or toytec? And 285 70 17 tires k02 or Nitto ridge grapplers? Will they rub?...what’s the better setup?...I’m 90 % on road 10 % off road. Any incite will be greatly appreciated.

It all depends on how much plastic dip you intend to apply

285s require 7.5 inch width rim size, would they fit well on a stock TRD Pro wheel 7inch?

Zero chance they won't rub. Most folks will have "some" rubbing with 275's like I did. Had to remove the mud flaps with 275's but no fender mod or BMC needed. You will likely need both with 285's, but some trimming will be required at the very least.

This has to be a rhetorical question - you seem to take the oxy out of oxymoron.

I will never understand buying a Pro and then putting a spacer lift on it.

A ton of guys..myself included run 285's on TRD wheels w/o issues.
I am lifted 2.75 in the front and 2 inches in the rear with 285/70/17 Nitto RGs with SPC UCA and have no rubbing at all and had to do zero trimming and maintained my mud flaps and I do wheel my rig and air down to 15 PSI.
Pro's have the front bumper cut slightly at the port so you may have to do that. All rigs are a little different though.
If you decide to run spacers you will rub however.

I'm with you on that.. You're effectively paying double for the suspension. Premium on the pro suspension and again when replacing suspension parts.

But the TRD OR doesn't have the TRD Pro emblem on the side.
