The first time the kids rode in the truck, they tracked in all sorts of leaves and dirt. It was then that I decided to make all-weather floor mats one of the first upgrades I’d do. I flip-flopped among the new OEM all-weather mats, WeatherTech Floorliner, and the Husky WeatherBeater, ultimately ending up with Husky’s product since so many people seemed happy with them, and I loved the coverage they offered up and over the kick plates.
The floor mats were an easy drop-in installation, but the cargo liner required a bit of extra effort. Its coverage is so good, it covers up the factory tie-downs in the back. Fortunately, these areas are marked out in the surface, which makes it easy to locate them and cut out an opening to restore the functionality of the tie-downs.
I wrote-up some
more details about the cargo liner installation with more photos on the site.
