ExtremeLED X6 Light Bar on a Prinsu

Anyone install an ExtremeLED X6 light bar on a Prinsu rack? I tried to do the install today and got stumped. I just can't get the brackets to work right. Want to see if anyone else has done it and may have any tips or tricks. Maybe a 3rd party set of brackets or something?

I'm trying to install this light bar: https://extremeledlightbars.com/x6-1...-led-light-bar

Onto a Prinsu full length with cutout in the air valance.

did you buy the prinsu light bar bracket?
they designed it to mount onto the bar holding the front wind deflector.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Prinsu bracket is specific to the heretic light bar only. I looked at it online and do not believe it will fit the bar I have.

I would love to find a bracket like theirs that will fit my specific bar. Will save me a lot of time trying to Fab on up myself.

you'll be able to use prinsu bracket, but it was only designed to use 1 screw.

I'm running this light with the bracket it came with. I lowered one of the rails behind the wind deflector to the lowest spot and mounted it on top of that.

It won't mount the way you'd like it too on the wind deflector due to the wiring coming out of the side of the lightbar blocking the bracket. You'd need to fabricate something to mount it like that.

Also, I hope you had more luck with your rack. My Prinsu rack is a "within tolerance" nightmare. POS company.

I don't think I can do the same as you for a couple reasons. You have the slim light bar which uses a different bracket. I also don't think I have "lower" holes for a cross bar. Possible because mine is no drill and the lower holes are for the bracket.

Got it mounted exactly how I wanted. Ended up adding holes for an extra rail lower than the rest and between the front most cross bar and wind deflector. Mounted the light right on top of it. Plenty of adjustment that way.

I'll have to see if this grows on me. I'm almost wishing I had went with a slim bar.

Hello fellow Oregonian!
I am trying to the exact same thing but cannot figure out how you mounted the light bar's mount to the cross bar..
would you be able to post some close up shots of the mount?
TIA

Make a metal bracket to marry both the roof rack mount and the light bar holes.

I wanted to ask you why you didn't use the lower mounting hole to keep it more flush with the fairing? Or was it out of range and too low to clear it. Glad you posted up the pics!
Still liking the light?
