Just wondering what everyone's experience with these in the rust belt is...consensus on the F150 forum seemed to be that the bodies rust and look like crap after a year or two unless you clear coat them before installing.

Other question is more 4R specific. Say you go with 1.75" lift up front (and a 1.5 spacer or lift coil in the rear), are extended bumpstops necessary and is a diff drop needed? I guess the other question would be whether 285/70R17 will fit without a BMC (on stock TRD OR wheels). I'm not there yet, only put a deposit down a couple weeks ago so I'm still months away from actually having a 4Runner...planning on swapping 275/70's on as soon as I get it as those seem to fit stock...
