Pedal Commander vs Sprint Booster

Any reviews on Pedal Commander vs Sprint Booster for our trucks? I assume they both do the same thing however which one plays better with the 5th Gen?

I have the Sprint Booster and more then satisfied with how improved pedal response is. I leave in Sport 3 or Sport 4 and turn off when off road.

Just a guess if know one has both units to complete comparison

Had the sprint booster. Caused me issues in specific off-roading scenarios. Otherwise works as advertised.

If you're considering throwing money on these, might as well get the URD plug n play MAF calibrator. Gone that route and threw the SB in the closet.

Why wouldn't or couldn't you use both?

Ive actually emailed URD asking that exact question (MAF w/SprintBooster or PedalCommander) and their response was:

"The MAF Cal will work just fine with either of those products. The SprintBooster is far superior."

I have Sprint Booster. Always at Red 5.
I have zero complaints. Install was super easy. I have the remote doible sided taped to the blank switch pod on the right knee bolster under steering wheel.

I have only had my PC for about a month now and zero complaints.

Took a few extra minutes with my install as I wanted it hidden. Found a switch blank in the glove box to route it through and mounted it in there. BT lets me make changes via the app on my phone if necessary.

Keep it set at City +2, and the throttle response is spontaneous now.

how does it impact MPG? I'm sure it's not going to improve MPG right...

"I put these e rated 285 tires, a roof rack, bumpers, 3" lift, and an emergency parachute. maybe less than 1mpg difference. barely noticeable!"

I don't even have one and I can tell you physics will make your mpg worse.

I did not see better mpg's, just much better throttle control.

You can use both. I didn't remove the SB because I installed the MAF. I removed it because it was causing an issue with my truck in certain off-road driving cases that causes limp mode and CEL. Just don't want to deal with that.

Results wise, either product will 'feel' considerably better than stock

Did he explain why its "far superior"? I bet its because URD has the SB on their website and that's their way of endorsing it. Its interesting that you ended up with the pedal commander anyways, what influenced your choice? I use the PC as well and I have been thrilled with it. I chose the PC because it is newer, there are significantly more settings, IT DOES COME WITH A CLIP SO IT IS DETACHABLE LIKE THE SB (I have seen some people saying it didn't, maybe when it first came out) and most importantly I got it on sale! I installed it myself and mounted it right under the ignition so I can have easy access at any time. My shop I get all of my work done with said they could install it just the way you have it, how easy is it for you to get to it? If you want to adjust your setting I would assume you have to wait till your at a stoplight or something. Its not on this thread but I find it funny that there are these hecklers that call it a waste of money and you should "just push down hard on the gas pedal". If you are reading this and haven't tried either the PC or the SB, its worth the price and is far superior to driving stock. Having control over the throttle response it is completely different than flooring it when you want to go fast.

I have PC for about a month now. I keep it at City -2 to compromise pedal response vs mpg. I saw an increase in mpg but I watch the ECO light like hawk. In the same time I installed the FJ Pro lift kit and this morning my mpg indicated 20.2 while Fuelly indicated 20.5.

Before PC and FJ Pro lift I had an average of 19.1. It could be a combination of both (counter intuitive) or I'm better at keeping it in the ECO range

I was able to make adjustments on my PC on the fly via direct input and via BT on my phone
