17 Off Road Premium @ 81K. Time for new tires (KO2's) and am thinking new shocks. Not looking for lift but I definitely want to level. If I do lift how much can I go without needing to replace the UCA's? How much can I go up without having to worry about geometry of the drive train?

Thanks,

JDG

I ordered a set from Total Automotive. I'm very eager for them to get back in stock. My Falkens showed up yesterday so they will just be taunting me in the garage until the arrive.

Bought my Bilstein system from y'all. Great service!

Bilstein 5100s with stock springs. 1.75 setting in the Front, 1.5" Cornfed Spacers in the rear with AirLift 1000s in the rear at ~10psi. Tires are stock size 265/70 BFG KO2s.
Hopefully these pictures will help some of y'all trying to decide on which height adjustment to use.

Installed this set-up last month before our 6000mi road trip west.

1 week after the suspension and new tires were installed, we took it on our road trip from Houston to the Pacific coast and back and I love it! Drives awesome. Stiffer than stock but not harsh at all like my current JKUR or previous Boss 302. No more nose dive and decreased body roll.

I really debated going to the 2.5 Front setting with larger tires but am so glad I didn't.

EDIT (2021-08-27)
Suspension is still performing great! Another friend with a '17 4Runner SR5 says ours drives 1000x better than his with the stock shocks. I couldn't agree more. Great suspension!

Stock orders placed today are listed at End of March.

We are expecting to see a stock delivery already in queue
to be available by beginning of February.

We have a Wait List started and recommend getting an order
submitted sooner rather than later to get added to the list.

Looking for a kit that will allow me to fit 285's on my 2017 4Runner and it looks like the 5100's are the move. What I'm contemplating is springs. Sometimes I'll haul my DRZ400 on a hitch carrier (about 400 lbs total tongue weight). Can anyone recommend a good solution?

Crazy Week So Far!

We received a delivery of rear Bilstein 5100's yesterday - woot!

We were able to ship most everyone with pending Complete Kits, but not all.

We are hoping to see more on our usual delivery tomorrow - fingers crossed!

Thank you so much for all the patience getting these 5100 Complete Kits processed and shipped.

I'm in the market for this set now but I'd like to ping those more knowledgeable than I first. I have a '15 4Runner Limited and my struts/shock front and rear have these hydraulic lines hooked up to them that I do not see in the pictures shown for the Bilsteins. Is the 5100 Complete Kits advertised here the correct kit for my 4R? Here is a picture of my rear right side shock

If that's the XREAS system then there's no substitute that I know of.

I did more research on this forum and sure enough, it's XREAS and man is it expensive to replace! You have to replace all four at once as well as the lines and pump. Total cost is about $4,000. I'm looking into an XREAS delete option now. I'd like to get new shocks and coils all around. I'm not a big off-roader so a lift per se isn't something I'm after.

Here's the 4Runner with 5100s for the front and Cornfed 1" rear lift. Stock springs.

This was just a temporary lift while I waited for the Kings.

'15 Limited here with 104,500-ish miles. Should I consider replacing my coils front and rear too if I buy this Bilstein kit? Any recommendations on coils to use for a daily driver? I don't go off road but I do occasionally tow about 3,500 lbs. Like many of you, I'd like to level out my 4R but I'm not into lifting it an excessive amount. As close to stock is best for me. Thanks in advance!

(Edit: The reason I'm considering new coils is I'm concerned the removal of XREAS will affect my 4R's handling. I don't know enough about how removing XREAS will affect the handling so I'm erring on the side of caution. If the ride gets a little firmer I'm ok with that.)
