RR pioneer + bajarack ladder?

Has anyone with a rhino rack pioneer on backbones tried fitting a bajarack ladder? Did it work?

I emailed Bajarack to ask them about clearance, and their response was that you need 3" between the top of the hatch when opened and the roof rack. With the pioneer platform installed I am just shy of 2" clearance. I have the platform centered on the attachment 'feet' of the backbone system, so I guess I could have drilled the holes differently and moved it forward some, but I still don't think it would be 3".

I know it's an old thread, but in case anyone stumbles across it trying to find a ladder that works with the Rhino Rack Pioneer platform - I ended up with ladder from Victory 4x4 and am able to open the hatch fully without touching the platform. Fully open, there is still ~3/4" gap.

I have one of those. While it works good, on the 4R it sit a little funny because of the angle of the door jam. On my Yukon it actually left small dents from not sitting quite right

Good to know! Which one do you have? I see some where the step is at the hook level, and some where the step is at the bottom where it braces against the jam. One of the folding ones has a good sized rubber foot. Wondering if that would be more secure?

I have the one in the first link you posted. FWIW, I am 6' 200lbs. If I think about it later, I'll try and grab a picture of it on my 4R
