LED Headlights H11

Any of you guys installed an LED headlights that fits inside the headlight housing without having to drill a hole on the dust cover to pass the wires? If so what brands are you guys using?

I’ve called Precision LED and they said that their LED are small enough that they fit inside the housing. There just a bit pricey though and I don’t know too much about this company and if there even good.

Search is your friend. There are ton of threads on this already.

I run the Morimotos is mine and everything fits behind the covers just fine. Good luck.

did you have to use the anti flicker adapter and if so does that fit in there as well?

That’s my next question. On the High Beams/DRL do we need an anti flicker?

Not needed for the H-11 Low Beams. I disabled my DRLs so I didn't need anything for my High Beams either. Otherwise yes you will need one.

I too run Morimoto (highs and lows). I love em' and didn't even need to adjust the beams. I'm getting ready to order their fog assemble next week.

Yeah what I meant is do you need the antiflicker for the H11 low beams? The 9005 high beams don't sit inside a dust cover so would assume you need the antiflicker and mount it someplace?

You'll love the Fogs!!! You will need to modify the tabs where they go into the factory slots toward the inside. It's just a matter of cutting off a little bit to make it narrower to fit into the bumper slot. Takes just a couple of minutes a side.

Adding on here:

I just switched from the XenonDepot LEDs to the Morimotos. MUCH happier with the change. I can already tell after one night of driving the beam reaches much farther down the road.

I have the Hikari LED Thunder in my low beams. I had no issues putting them inside the housing (I did not even remove the battery), the light output way better than high end halogens and love the look. I have Cougar Motor LED DRL/high beams. For the DRL the light is very consistent, no flicker and high beams are crazy bright. Each set are $37 each on Amazon.

Did you clock the low beams when installing?

Yes, placed the wire at 6 o'clock, it clearly focused the beam. This was one of the reasons I bought the Hikaris.
