Excellent. Now I just need to convince myself. I'm looking for the same ride I got in my 4th gen by using what I think were 2014 FJ Bilstiens (silver with blue boots) and a spacer.

Will you guys assemble the 6112 prior to shipping? It’s an option some sellers are offering at a small additional charge.

Can't recall how tall the stock springs are, but the 6112's come with 14" springs (600#). If you're asking if they will raise the height of the front end of your vehicle higher than stock, then yes, 2.5-3" max. The new 6112's have 7 spring perch settings going from no lift up to almost 3" if I remember correctly.

We do get asked this question a lot.
Typically, there is no reason for the added expense replacing the Top Hat.
Also, lift is often a last minute decision, but for the 6112's, is needed before installing the Top Hat.
If doing the install yourself, you can reach out to a local shop for re-purposing Top Hat on NEW 6112's.
Sometimes this is free, but most of the time a small fee. Example, Pep Boys does it here for $20.00.
This is less than the cost of new Top Hats.
Hope this helps.

I just finished the installation this last weekend of the 6112's on my 17 SR5 non kdss.. I set the driver side to clip #7 and the passenger side to #6 to help compensate for factory lean... Anyway everything went well and we also installed the dirt king ball joint uca's.. I only got 2 inches of lift in the front.. I was expecting at least 2.5.. Have you heard of this or have any ideas why I only ended up with 2? No extra weight- bumpers, winch, etc..

thought these only lift max, 2.25"? Mine are at the top setting on both sides and are just above 2" of lift. I wouldn't want anymore lift, it drives so nice. Just cause guys max their coilovers preload out to get 3" of lift doesn't mean they drive nice

We have not really heard anyone sharing the Top Setting being limited to 2" of Lift.
Usually, it is the opposite...Too Much Lift.
Here are the typical expectations for a 5th Gen 4Runner...

Do you have steel skid plates? I got 0.9 when I set it for 1.2. I have 300lb worth of armor but no bumpers.
You can easily gain more by going to 650lb springs. However, you will pay a hefty price for that both on and offroad.
On road, a maxed out lift on 650lb will probably ride like crap. Mine rides just fine, sporty, but still fine at 1.25" lift. But any further stiffness would be too much. By contrast, the 600lb springs made for a plush, superb ride.
Off road, mine is perfect with the 650. 600 was too soft. But if you max the lift you will eat the wheel travel which is much more important than 0.5-1" of extra lift under a couple of skid plates especially if these are proper 3/16 ones.
So, if I were in your shoes, I would stay 600 if outside the Southwest and would get 650 if around here but would dial the lift down to 1.5sh.
The stiffer springs do much more to prevent hits than some extra nominal lift in the front, especially since you don't have KDSS so you are not losing clearance there.
