Urethane Sway Bar Bushings on KDSS Runners

My guess from looking at the sway bar design is that urethane (at the control arm) bushings would impede how the sb needs to move. I don't see any other threads really discussing it. Has any one found any, or tried them?

I mean I get what you're saying. But I don't think there is much room for improvement with the kdss apart from what sonoran steel offers. A lot of very qualified engineers put a bunch of R&D into developing the system.

If anything I think all you will be adding is new squeaks and creaks.

But I'm not a engineer. A lot more qualified people can chime in here.

My question wasnt really to switch to urethane or not. That is purely personal preference. I have run them in many vehicles. Key difference with kdss is the sway bar does not have a typical end link setup. The bar attaches directly to the lower control arm and there appears to be a certain degree of movement needed. Which i would guess would cause urethane to be an issue.

That aside urethane lasts longer, is firmer, doesnt break down when in contact with petroleum based products, are most likely cheaper then oem, etc...
