Does this run at all? Did you have to trim?

Does this rub at all? Did you need to do any trimming?

What wheels & tires on it? Any rub or cutting needed with that setup? Thanks.

I had rubbing but shaved the lower front bumper and moved the fender well forward slightly. It was very easy/minor to fix.

Just for reference: First Pic. I started out on my TRD PRO without any mods and updated to 275-70-17’s. Pros sit 1” higher and have the fender liner/bumper cut done prior to sale. No issues or rubbing at full articulation. Second Pic, with 1.5/1” Cornfed spacers. Nice and level. Nose dive reduced noticeably. Third pic. Same suspension mod with 285/70-17’s. No rubbing so far at slight to moderate articulation. Have not tried out full articulation yet. Also, measure from the center of the hub to the top of the fender arch for the more accurate height dimension, which, eliminates the tire size variable. Measure the outside of the wheel and divide by 2, if you don’t have a proper way to gauge the center. Mine is 22.5” front and 23.25” rear.

Panther, is it a noticeable performance loss when going up to 285s from 275s? And how did you like the KO2s vs Wildpeaks? I think the KO2s look better (personal preference), but folks seem to think Wildpeaks ride smoother and have less balancing issues. What was your experience? Thanks.

I noticed a very small initial starting off the line difference at first, which, you quickly forget about in a couple days. I find the overall performance is very good and did not lose any mileage between the two. The ride quality is nicer/smoother with the SL 285’s as compared to the E load KO2’s. I would not go back from a 285. I personally slightly prefer the KO2 tread pattern myself also. The Wildpeaks balanced well, track smooth, no steering wheel shutter and held up well deflated to 22psi over rocks, sand, salt and silt on a 128 mile trip through the desert three weeks ago.

Thanks. I didn't realize you could get Wildpeaks in SL load. Tire Rack doesn't list them. What do they weight in at?

5100s all around
Got 5100s all around, front cranked to 2.5", also replaced rear springs to add 1.5" which leveled it out. Running 285 KO2's which DID rub and DID need trimming and alignment, still might rub with steering at full crank, loaded down, in reverse. Rides nice, definitely smoother than stock, rips through sand and woods and what not, but still wishin I went for the 6" lift.
