I got 11+ volts at the 3 and 9 o'clock connectors on the left but none at the 6 o'clock connector. On the right, I got voltage at the 3 o'clock but not at the 6 or 9. The LED in the tailgate spoiler is working as well. The 10 amp fuse marked "stop" in the block under the hood is good. Any advice will be appreciated. I am due at the dealer for the air bag recall on 4/12, but need brake lights now.

I assume you have the 2010-2013 tails?
Check these threads:
Driver side brake light no workie
Brake light gremlins
Bad rear brake light
Essentially the socket connection wears down, and you have to bend it back and sand down the connectors. Good idea to apply some dielectric grease too.
I got tired of fixing it and just upgraded to the 2014 assemblies. I would consider this the best fix. Having the drivers side brake light go out on a few trips was too much for us.
Good luck.
