100% satisfied, only thing missing is a subwoofer but I don’t wanna lose the storage space. And I really wish the apple CarPlay was via Bluetooth, but the upside to it being via usb is the phone doesn’t die on me. It’s a great system, especially if you get the components to display the vehicle info.

Man I think that unit looks great!! Been seriously thinking about that unit since that T8 thing has failed so bad. Do you Waze? If so does it have it's own app on the HU or do you use it through Apple Car Play? Any problem multitasking while using Waze and say Pandora together? Had a Pioneer in my other car and it was like a stupid orchestrated process to make it all work together and switch back and forth. Thanks and congrats.

Thanks! I never really use waze, and i believe they were recently bought by google anyway so i reckon google maps will be slowly incorporate their inputs. Haven't used pandora, but generally stream youtube and had no trouble with that while following google maps.
That being said i believe waze is only accessible through CarPlay.

Still waffling over getting a sub, definitely wanna see how your install goes. If you don't mind could you post some pics when its installed?

Looks great..I am thinking about getting a new head unit, but I want it more flush fit rather than sticking out. That triggers my OCD big time lol

Didn't like the floating style head unit at first, but it's grown on me..Nice set up, it's just that $900 plus price tag that has me hesitating..

I hear you there. So many new cars are coming like that now it's starting to look normal.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of it either, but if you look at most of the newer high end cars they all have screens sticking out like this off the dash. I like the look of the T8 but refuse to buy it because of the lack of functions and crappy bluetooth. I'm really leaning toward this unit for a lot of reasons. I think I'd get over the unit sticking out once I got used to having the huge touchscreen

I plan on going this route too, just wondering if they’ll add wireless car play to it for next year’s model. Looks really good.

I placed a Wizgear Magnet on my old Pitaka Mount that is mounted on my Buddy Dock. lol. The Pitaka Mount only really works with the Pitaka cases but my case broke so i just added the magnet i already had over it.
I'm sure this Wizgear mount would work just as well.

The maestro wire harness links up to the OBDii scanner and gives off the readings to the headunit, as long as its capable of showing that information.
