If your rear bulbs are also LED, you'll need to either put two resistors per side, or one resistor with twice the resistance. But this way the resistors aren't constantly on with the front DRL bulb.
Thanks @Jeffy

I'll try this out and follow up

Yeah but the 7443 incandescent blew both sides after 2 months, replaced and got another 1 month from the bulbs and sockets. I'm on socket #3 hahaha.

I appreciate your help here, really. I'll give his method of no CANBUS and add a rear resistor.

Returning the lasfit which sucks since they are in fact very bright.

Just thought I would follow up on these guys. I installed the LED reverse lights and the driver's side rear blinker. The blinker bulbs are a huge pain to install. I've been working on the passenger side one for hours, and have yet to get it installed, despite buying a variety of tools along the way. I've dropped the bulb into the taillight housing three times now, where it currently sits. At this point, when I get it out of there again, I think I'll put the stock ones back and return the Lasfit LED's. If you're going to use them, keep in mind they're more than twice the length of the stock blinker bulb, which is what leads to the ordeal described above.

What a nightmare of contortionist antics for nothing. They're really bright, but they sure don't seem worth hours of stress and frustration.

The reverse lights were a piece of cake, but the blinkers are damn near a form of torture to try to install.

You need to pull on the wiring. There’s slack in the line and you’ll need it to install the lasfit. Took me 10 minutes for both sides.

Just give it a slow pull. Not like starting a lawn mower. But yes the lasfit bulbs are a lot bigger

Are you trying to install these while still on the vehicle? There are 2 bolts holding on each side, I think 8 or 10mm deep socket, just pop the light housing off and install the bulbs. Then bolt 'er back up. Should take 10 min tops for both sides. If you didn't pop em off wear some gloves, since there's some sharp metal in there.

I did mine without removing anything. It’s a lot easier but yeah you can detach them if you want

Lol. Took me 5 minutes to install both my rear lasfit bulbs. Without removing the lights.

Go look at post #32. I was having the same problem. Not enough slack in the wire harness. You gotta remove the whole tail light assembly.

ive installed the rear blinkers twice already and I have done it both ways. If you have big paws, its easier to remove the taillights....its really easy.

No way you're installing longer bulbs on mine without pulling the lights, I'm pretty jealous that anyone has enough slack to do that.

So I did what @Jeffy said. Installed rear resistors and rear LED. Here's the outcome:
1. LED turn signals work without hyperflash, but I have to use the Lasfit bulbs in the front
2. the nothing fancy, non-CANBUS bulbs hyperflash when put into the front turns
2. DRL no longer works at all with any bulbs

In the rear, I tapped the yellow on LH and light blue on RH for +, as these are the only wires that read on the meter.

You do not need to remove the tail assembly. The wires can stretch just enough to get it in there.

Using the DDM Saber led lights for the DRL. Super bright as well. No flicker until you take a video of it or try to snap a pic then you can see them pulsing. The naked eye can’t see it.

how do u like ddm sabers? Do they work as true DRL - not on as high beams in drl mode? did u need the additional modules? can u link to specific bulb?

I like them a lot. They’re very bright even in DRL mode. I literally just plugged them in and walked away. They don’t “pulse” like some other bulbs do but when you take a video of it, like my iPhone takes 4K at 60 frames per second, then you can see them pulse.

Thanks. Do you find the DRL mode too bright? Just wondering if they truly dim enough in DRL mode. Most on the market are in full high beam mode in DRL, which is no good if u like using DRLs.

They’re not fully on like they are in high beam mode but they’re a lot brighter than stock. I’ve only had one person flash me in a lowered civic so I gave him the light bar too. I don’t think they’re too bright. Plus I liked the two year warranty
