Ladder issue with exp one rear bumper

So have a new ladder, Greenlane Off-road. Aluminum, finish and quality look top notch.

My issue is, I put the ladder on, closed my hatch and to my surprise it slid right behind my exp one rear bumper and I couldn’t get it to reopen.

Now, I know this ladder is not well know here but anyone else with a exp one rear bumper have ladder fitment issues? How did you fix it? I want to keep the ladder and the bumper. I’m already changing my rack due to interference issues with the ladder. Any ideas?

It’s the lower pinch bracket. It’s only one side. It’s not adjustable. It’s fully seated on the lower hatch.

Same issue bro, but i have Gobi ladder with my Ex-One bumper. Get the grinder out and take a mm off the bottom of the ladder, no issues now. I was curious if anyone else had this same issue.

Was afraid of that. If it just a few mm I’d have done it. The green lane ladder has a very thick bottom plate, being aluminum would have me cutting a section out.

So, I sold said ladder to my neighbor. He gets an awesome ladder and after looking at install videos I think the Baja ladder has a slimmer bottom plate, so gonna grab one of those.

Thanks for the reply man, seems to be ex-one issue.

Vinsil what rack do you have? I have a Rhino Rack and I have been told that a Ladder is not possible with this rack...

I have a ecotechne but it’s going down the road in favor of a prinsu. I can confirm this ladder works with the rhino, my neighbor has the rhino rack and it fits perfect.
