I absolutely love the designs of these, and really wanted to order the switch-backs. I noticed they are now "sold-out" on his website. He was also booted from the 5th Gen 4Runner Facebook group because of this lack of communication with people on there. I wish someone would make something similar to these.

Cant be but so hard to scan these and 3d print them, adding the electronics after.... If they are that popular someone with the know how and some free time should be able to make it happen. Even if it's just a kit the user assembles themselves.
If you made the user assemble you could pop out a hundred or so a week I would imagine. Selling them assembled would be the time constraint. But if you paid a worker 20 bucks an hr to build them for a few weeks youd still make a small killing assuming you sold 3-4 hundred at 200 a pop.

Got the kit installed last night. I've gotten pretty accustomed to removing my front bumper after the SSO Slimline install, so I saved some time there compared to someone who's never removed theirs before. It was pretty easy to remove the old fog light bezels and pop the new ones in, though for some reason the passenger side has a shroud over it that was harder for me to remove than it should have been.
I'm no expert regarding anything electrical, and the instructions where a little vague in some areas. There were a couple of pictures with the instructions, but there weren't any that helped me with the part I was stuck on. I obviously ended up figuring it out, but was a little frustrated at one point. It was much easier to just remove the headlights to work with the wiring rather than reach up behind the fender liner like the instructions said to do. The kit came with two wire taps, one for each side. Of course I snapped one in half right away as I tried to apply it. I still ended up getting it to work, and I just wrapped it with Electrical tape to keep it snugly in place.
I used a lot of electrical tape to hold the connections tight and sealed, and I used a LOT of zip ties to secure the harness. As you can see, I went through some trial and error with the harness positioning in order to get the connections to reach the appropriate places, resulting in some wasted zip ties.
Overall, I think it turned out very well, and I think it looks great. Happy to have the whole thing behind me now.

Oh god wire taps are the cheapest and worst way to connect wires, especially ones that are susceptible to the elements...

Looks great! But, is it worth it after 9 months, lies, shoddy instructions, shoddy components?

Well if you are like me, an electrical engineer (who ordered the kit 2 years ago when it was taking a solid 6 months to deliver btw) you don't use the wire taps and soldier everything, then heat wrap.

So....I'm not an electrical or LED genius... but there's nothing special about the bezels correct? Just OEM? If so, all I'm seeing is a pair of 20-40.00 flexible switchback LED strips glued to the factory bezels?.? For 250.00? If so, why not just buy the LEDs and retrofit your own bezels? I'm sure a 2 part urethane would be more than sufficient to adhere them permanently. Unless I'm missing something( which is entirely possible)

I don't think you're wrong, but it's easy to say that now having seen the wiring harness and assembly in person. I wouldn't have know where to even start.
