Xenon HID / LED Question

Couldn’t find a definitive answer on this.

Do I need the PWM module for the HID low beams?

Also, for the LED high beams, do I need both the PWM module and the DRL LED driver or just the LED driver?

No for HID.

Yes for high beams unless you do the DRL driver to eliminate the flicker. If you run a PWM without the DRL driver, it will run your DRL at full blast making a bit too bright for a DRL.

Okay thanks. I wasn’t sure if the DRL Driver would eliminate the flicker.

Yes the DRL driver is specifically designed to reduce the flicker. Dont be afraid to hit the like/thank you button below my post.

Are there options for LED hi-beams that keep DRL functionality *without* full brightness or flickering (other than xenondepot which is $120 + $60 for the DRL driver)?

don't need a module for it. Been running it over a year with no issues. No flicker. It's not on full high when on but it's not super dim. Its between.
