2021 TRD P033 error knock sensor

Wondering if anyone has gotten a P033 error code on their 5th? I purchased mine in Dec 2020 and yesterday I got the reduced power warning, take it to the dealer cel light etc alert. When I hooked up the reader it showed a P033 error. I guess that’s the bank 2 knock sensor. Any thoughts on this. Same thing happened to my 2005 after about 16 years of age. Just didn’t anticipate something like this on an 8 month old truck.

Thanks,
Ant

I looked but I couldn’t find any. But I can’t really see the knock sensor.

I did see a chipmunk bring an oak leaf under the engine area yesterday morning just before I drove away and saw the alert. Thought it was strange. But I thought that was just a coincidence. I crawled under the engine but cant see any evidence of a nest etc.

I think Ford got rid of knock sensors in the 1990's. It was cost reduction and the accomplished the the goal with software.

Your auto insurance should cover that without issue.
