NEW Expedition Series Lower Control Arms from TOTAL CHAOS

TOTAL CHAOS is proud to announce the release of the all-new EXPEDITION SERIES lower control arms. The Expedition Series is an evolution of the original Race Series which increases ground clearance and adds component strength. With strategic additions and subtle enhancements, the Expedition Series lower control arms will improve on and off road handling on a wide range of suspension configurations.

One of the main features of the Expedition Series lower arms are newly integrated steering stop tabs which retain factory turning angle with no modification necessary to the OEM ball joint cradles. Put that grinder away for this install, these are 100% bolt-on.

Only found on Expedition Series lowers, strategically placed pockets have been added at the coilover shock tabs to increase clearances allowing for a wider range of shocks to be used (up to 3.0").

Uniball cups on the Expedition Series lowers are part of a stout one-piece billet design that increases strength and provides more turning clearance. 1" 100% stainless steel uniballs are included which replace the factory ball joints.

As with all TOTAL CHAOS lower control arms, replaceable polyurethane pivot bushings and zerk fittings are included for easy maintenance. As always, don't forget to prep your sh*t!

TOTAL CHAOS Expedition Series lower control arms consist of laser cut 4130 chromoly throughout and are 100% MADE IN THE USA. Currently the Expedition Series is available as a stock length replacement. Single or dual shock variants are also available for vehicles with or without KDSS. Note: for dual shock applications, a 1.25" wheel spacer is required to keep the tire from hitting the second shock at full steering lock.

Are these compatible with shocks that have a rubber bushing at the lower rod end?

They sure are!

Strategically placed pockets have been added at the coilover shock tabs to increase clearances allowing for a wider range of shocks to be used (up to 3.0")

This allows customers to run a rubber bushing rod end shock (Factory, Billstein, Old Man Emu, Etc.) as well as a larger 3.0 shock like what King offers.

Only found on Expedition Series lowers, strategically placed pockets have been added at the coilover shock tabs to increase clearances allowing for a wider range of shocks to be used (up to 3.0")

This means you can NOW install a bushing lower rod end shock or a 3.0!

@TOTAL CHAOS just to clarify, with the addition of your UCA and Expedition LCA I can order the Tundra 3.0 Kings and it would work fine with the 5th gen?
edit: I wonder if having KDSS wouldnt allow me to use the 3.0 Kings. Assuming since Kings have specific coilovers for 5th gens with kdss.

I got a silly question.

Can I run a single shock on a dual shock LCA with no problems?

Correct! 3.0s will work with the Expedition Series. We offer both KDSS and non-KDSS models. You can run the larger diameter shock with either

Sure thing! You will have to run wheel spacers to clear the secondary shock tab

Really wish this would have been offered a month ago before I spent money on the race series. Literally one month.

Anyway...I run them without wheel spacers just fine. Turning radius suffers though. I’m running after market wheels though.

I doubt I could even scratch the surface on what these were designed to do.

Does this use the same size uniball that you use in your upper control arms?

I felt the same when i added aftermarket LCA's to my titan. But daily driving i noticed a better ride, increased responsiveness, tighter steering feeling, etc. Using products that don't bind, offer less or zero deflection, and look amazing really helps justify the cost especially when you notice it every day. Even if you don't abuse it like these were meant for. Although these are PRICEYYYYYYYY...Stock width performance stuff is great, but their +2 kits are tempting

it's just money
