Is there room on lower grille for led light bars?

I'm looking into upgrading a 5th gen and I was just wondering if anyone's installed Rigid SR2 light bars on lower grille area.

Going to have to figure out how to mount the amber light bar in hood scoop if I end up getting a trail but wanted to know if it's feasible to install it on lower grille of a 5th gen. Would be having a shop do the work when the time comes.

There are many companies that have fabricated a mount for both the lower and upper grille. Try using the google machine, it will come up with many that have done this. It wont be to hard to fabricate some sort of mount depending on size.

I'm not sure about "ON" the lower grille area, but as mentioned previously there are quite a few companies that make brackets for "behind" the grille! Wasn't sure which you were actually looking for as I've seen it done both ways, on and behind the grille! If you look around, you will definitely find answers and pictures to both options.

I certainly came across few threads about this. I reached out to a local fab shop with a thread showing reference pictures so fingers crossed they can do something for me! I'm still waiting for the day c4fab comes out with a mount for the hood scoop if I end up opting for TRD trail however...!

@Saker did the flush mount in the lower grille, I think that's what you meant by on the grille. His version is super clean

you can install and wire one yourself in an hour. Rago fabs set up is easy and has install videos. I did mine in an hour and then sold it when I bought my winch. Reinstalled it on the buyer truck in about an hour for a case of beer.

just saying, its easy enough to do yourself and that way you know it will be done right.

I had a 30" behind the lower grille before I chopped my front end up and made a bumper.

Super easy to make your own mount there too since there's some fasteners you can co-clamp with.
