What the load bearing weight on the rack?
Any issues with wind noise on that front fairing.

The only weight number Toyota seems to give are for the stock rack crossbars (not side rails) which are only rated to 132lbs, our rack will support a lot more than that, but it is up to your discretion. I ran a Freespirit rooftop tent, myself, and sleeping gear on our crossbars without any issues.

I have not yet driven on the highway but up to about 55 mph there doesn't seem to be much added wind noise.

Prinsu's side rails are 1/4 inch where Victory's are 3/16th. I don't think that small of a different would make that much of a weight difference.

Does anyone have any notes on how much the Prinsu actually weighs?

Do you have any pictures of the lightbar cutout?

I do not have one installed on the 4Runner yet, but it will be about the same as the Tacoma Rack.

Great timing, I was about to place on order for a different rack, but I think I like this better. These photos look great, but the edge trim in the install video looks sloppy not going all the way across. Is it required in the rear- does the rear fairing make contact with the body? Have you tested road noise without it in the front?

Yes, you could move the rear fairing all the way up and it will not touch the roof. I ran the front fairing all the way up without the trim and you don't get wind noise but at high speeds it has some flex and can vibrate. With the trim and the fairing all the way down, it's not a problem.

Good looking Rack and price. How wide are the cross bars? and if I loaded something longer than the rack and it overhangs, will the load also rest on the front and rear fairings. Would it clear the lightbar if I got the cut out?

The crossbars are 2" wide and there are 8 of them. The front and rear fairings are adjustable so it may depend on how you have it set up, but they can be level with the crossbars. The light bar is mounted with drop brackets on the front crossbar so it sits lower than they do.

Great looking rack. What mounts do you plan on making for it? Awning/Rotopax/Maxtrax/Treds? How long until those mounts are available? Thank you

Is weather stripping a common item as part of a roof rack mount?
Will the rack flex down on the front fairing when someone is walking on the rack. I assume those front feet have some flex in the rubber?

I was going to install a clearbra on the roof and I am trying to figure out if that will eliminate the need for the weather stripping.

All those and more, awning/Rotopax/Maxtrax/RTT, etc..., should be in the next 30 days or so.

The feet will have some flex in them yes, but the front fairing shouldn't really flex down unless there is weight directly on top of it.

The reason for the edge trim is to protect the roof and allow you to press the fairing firmly against the roof without damage. Since the fairing is aluminum, it can flex/vibrate some at higher speeds, if it is adjusted up off of the roof. Some people seem to think it is for wind noise (whistling) but that hasn't been an issue in my experience.

I like the rear plate in the back. Gives it a nice finished look.
