Any luck with vinyl tint on the headlights?

Playing with the Vvivid air tint and it's amazing stuff. Made short work of the Fog lights and the bling on the side mirrors. Playing with the headlights but having issues. Has anyone had it done? Think I may need to try and do it in two pieces, but it's the first time playing with the the stuff. " but tinting head lights and tail lights is bad" don't care for the drama on the subject, just the technical aspects of the art form.

I attempted it with clear 3M to protect from UV damage but the curves are more than my skill level allows. Took it to a shop and they wouldnt do it since it wont be to their standards.

That's about where I'm at. Trying to find someone who has had it done. Ordered some knifeless tape and will try to seem it. Looking at the lenses, there is a seam line at the corner.

I was looking to do this too, with Clear. Thanks for the feedback. Bummer that seemed like the best most durable approach.

Mine are starting to haze up already and if I am going to correct them I would like them to last a while (versus just buying new housings) I guess I'll look into some sealants instead.

I was Looking at them. Any pics of them installed? Are they wet or dry applied? They didn't look like a complete wrap, so may not be what I'm looking for, but if others can benefit that's good also.

Just hit 'em with this stuff every couple of months. Keeps 'em looking new.

Played with the tint again today. Not sure about seaming the material, maybe a better knifeless tape. I have no doubt the lights can be wrapped, but I think I at my skill level they need to be taken off. I will hold off until I find more information on the subject or find a spare set of lights to play with.
