Look up "spring nut" on amazon - makes attaching accessories both the inside and outside tracks on TE racks super easy (home depot has them too if you have one close by). It's been awhile but I think I had to shorten the springs on some of them, just used wire cutters for that. I also shot them with some cold galvanizing compound and used a dab of anti seize to prevent future issues.
Best thing I used them for was to mount dock cleats to the outside rails. If you actually tie stuff to your roof frequently it makes it about as easy as it can be. Also at home depot for like $4 each (
