Definitely has been said a few times in this thread but these Pre-Facelift 4Runners look amazing.

I was originally looking for a 2014+ but have changed my search over to a 2010-2013 4Runner. Hoping to have one myself in the near future!

Perfect setup IMO

What type of work went into fitting those tires under the 4Runner? Coming from a 2nd Gen Tacoma body mount chops are fairly common and a lot of trimming for anything bigger than a 265/75/17 tire.

Loved the 10-13 4runners. I would still be driving my 12 TE if it had not been a victim of a hit and run in 2015. I took 2 detours after that, one good and one bad before I bought my 20 TRD ORP in August.

IMHO: 2010-13 TE are arguably the best 4runner made to this day…

Just got my 2013 TE cleaned and ready for Hunting Season and ski trips

Eight years and 120,000 miles driven and I still love my 2010 TE as much as the day I bought it. A few months back I contemplated upgrading to a new 4Runner but really couldn't find a reason to.

Well - maybe if I could find one in that burnt orange color

I agree, the look of the 2014+ was ruined for me by the stormtrooper helmets in the newer Star Wars trilogy; they look so similar I can't unsee it (especially in white of course).

I know the stock approach angle isn't as good on the earlier ones but I'm driving my 2010 as-is until something rips the stock air dam off

Most guys are fitting 33s (285/70-17) with barely any modifications necessary. Read into it a little here. It’s been covered extensively or PM me and I’ll fill you in so as not to cause more clutter.

Glad I seen this thread! I would agree, Best year range 10-13! Well except the 1996-1997 Need to ask a question since this may be the right thread. I have some 5100s coming in and wanted to add some wheels later. I am looking at the Black Rhino Stadium 17x9.5 -18 with 285/70. Does anyone have any experience with 9.5 inch or -18 wheels? Im looking into seeing what else mods would I need to get so they do not rub. Or if someone can point me into the right direction.

You are absolutely going to rub with that width and offset. You’ll need UCAs and a body mount chop for sure. I’d strongly consider changing the parameters of your wheel selection.

That is what I was afraid of. I was also looking at -12 with 9 inch wide Fuel Shok. Would this still cause major modifications or do I need to look at 0 offset?

Thanks for your input!
