OG 5th Gen 10-13 models
How is everyone doing? I wanted to see how many of us still have the 10-13 model 4runners? It seems many have moved on to the newer look and I myself am also considering due to the amount of aftermarket support still being made for the 14+ 5th Gen. It seems most companies are forgetting about us older 4runners. Please post pics of your 10-13 models and your thoughts on selling my 12 TE. Most recent pic below at Camp Blanding below.

I absolutely love the look of our years. I wouldnt change it for anything. I also havent found much issue with aftermarket parts with the exception of front bumpers, but now that C4 made a low pro bumper, I have no complaints. I vote you keep it, lol but I love seeing the OG trails rolling around.

I have a 2013 TE that only has 37,000 miles on it so I'll be keeping it for a while. It replaced my 2007 FJ Cruiser as my daily driver. I had the FJ SAS'd and it's my dedicated off-road vehicle, although I do light to moderate wheeling in the 4-Runner from time to time. Here's a pic of the 4-Runner. Only thing that's changed since this pic was taken is the Icon coilovers/rear shocks just got replaced with remote resi Radflo's and the Duratrac's got replaced with BF Goodrich KO2's.

I'd never give up my '13. Best years ever made. I agree there isn't as much support, however, I'd look into it a bit closer. Some of the manufacturers list '14 and up when there's no reason it couldn't be '10 and up

Don't do it!!! The OG 10-13 4R's, especially modded TE are a rare bird. One of my great regrets is ditching my '13 LE for a '16 TE. I switched mainly for the looks and rear locker. I still prefer the looks of the 14+ models but the 10-13 TE look a lot better than the 10-13 SR5 or LE. I lost a lot of extra options in the process like sunroof, dual zone climate, heated leather seats, homelink, full time 4wd. The 4R is my first 4wd vehicle and I think I got swayed a bit by the forums. At the time I saw the LE as more of a mall crawler limited by approach/departure angles, the lack of a rear diff lock, and lack of aftermarket parts so I wanted to switch to something more spartan like the TE. In hindsight I would have just kept building up the '13 LE. It would have been paid off by now as well so in the end I just ended up losing money on it and extending my car payments. Live and learn!!!
Also there really isn't too much you can't get for the 10-13 models. The biggest difference is the front fascia but if you go full bumper you just need to get an extra trim piece. Some people will also do a headlight conversion while upgrading the bumper too. As well C4 now makes a 10-13 hybrid bumper.

I love my 2013 TE. Bought it with 24k miles and almost 2 years later now, its at 47k. I personally love the 10-13 look so much more than the 14+. I'd never give it up for a newer one. The aftermarket support I need exists, so that's not too much of a worry for me.

I've moved on and bought a new X5 but I returned my 4runner back to stock and gave it to my father to drive. He's been loving it thus far! He used to have 3rd gen which he bought new back it in 99 and drove it till it was unfortunately totaled.

2011 Trail Edition
2011 TE. I won't be getting rid of mine anytime soon. Just this morning I found one nearby for $25K and I only paid $32,500 for mine 8 years ago.......Brand NEW!
Old pic, before I lifted it a bit

Ung Ugh not selling mine. Only 120k miles on the odo still runs lIke a top. Shoreline Blue is basically a unicorn color and on the 2010 thru 2012 there is No SAIP, so there is plenty of room in the bay for mods. The Trail is somewhat rare so I'd keep it. I'm also not a fan of the large mouth bass front end on the later models. The aftermarket bumpers look great on them but they're pricey.

Man, it actually looks decent without the rear bumper. Any issues that have come up with it's removal? Mine has been hanging off and/or tied on with paracord for the past year or two. I think it may be coming off soon.
130k miles here. Replacing a bunch of front end components this week to get my alignment in check, but that's the only issue I've had.
