then I hit the second snag..while installing the back covers, I noticed they didn't have any provision for the strap used to pull the rear seats up..should have been a slit or something at the far back of the seat cover..when I contacted clazzio, they said sometimes the factory forgets to cut them..guess I should have looked before I put the cover all the way..made it a b**ch to get them back off..kind of bothers me that I need to slice a hole in my brand new seat covers but I guess it's not that big of a deal.

I'll post up some pics when I finish the install.
Not sure why there needs to be a slit for the strap. I removed the plastic trim around the latch then installed the seat cover. After that I simply reinstated the plastic trim over the seat cover and routed the strap as seen in my photos (shorter seat). Both rear seats worked the same way.

ok, one more question..passenger side rear cover..how is the seatbelt supposed to go through?? Do I need to unbolt and reattach?? Can't see how it would work otherwise.

Yes, just remove one bolt (floor of 4Runner and reattach after the seat cover is installed.

Lots of fun installing these in 90+ degree heat with nearly 100% humidity..The instructions weren't the best, but my emails to the company were answered quickly and with some help from folks on this site I got them installed. They came out pretty good.

Very nice! Same situation with the heat and humidity in south central FL. I went through about 2.5 liters of water while installing mine.

actually its this one, b/c you only need to know the tricks n tips on how to get the headrests on, and how to get the leather holes around the plastic bits.

I installed just the passenger seat last night. It’s tough when it’s still a hundred degrees at 11 at night and 110 in my garage.
Oh well
Maybe I’ll do driver seat tonight
I’m happy with it though!

So hot outside I have stalled. Plus wifey had the truck out for a week camping while I had to work.

Installed the driver side tonight. Just have the rear seat to go.

Curious... I can’t seem to get the front bottom of the driver seat to stay tucked under the plastic cover. Is this normal for anyone?

Secondly. For those that have had them on for awhile, do they stretch out and lay smooth flat agains the back of the seats? Like on the seatback centers, if that makes any sense...
