Purely cosmetic and I would have a hard time trusting this kit. If you ever get a wild hair and want to off road in it, I'd highly recommend that you don't. I don't know how much this cost but it shouldn't be more than $250 bucks. You get what you pay for. Do it right. At least get an Eibach lift kit and get good shocks and good springs, not great but good.

Edit - I just looked at the link, $250. Nice guess lol. I'd be a pro at price as right car parts edition.

I was thinking this thing was purely cosmetic as well... Last weeked I took my stock 2017 SR5 on some OHV trails out in UWharrie and was very pleased with how far I could take a bone stock 4runner. So now Im just looking to add height, tires and possible frame sliders to avoid any slips along the trails.

I just had this lift installed last Friday. So far so good. I plan on upgrading later on to something better but it fits my needs for now.

That looks nice, I admit but I would have my worries about it as well. If this is a stepping stone for you then let the modding begin here soon lol.

NO way would i trust this kit. I wouldn't touch Rough Country suspension or even the sticker they put in the suspension box with a stick. You get the idea by looking at your poll. Here comes generic answer.... If you want a solid lower budget suspension just add $100-$150 dollars to your $250 you will spend here and get Bilstein 5100s all around. Adjust on the front and use spacer in the rear. You will have all new shocks and a system that millions on millions of 4runners out there are running now or have run in the past!

I agree completely. A stock 4 runner will get you most places with a $20 diff breather mod and better than stock AT tires. then start saving your money for a good entry level kit like the 5100s or wait a couple extra months past that and do the Dobinson's kit. Their base kit with the code given on this forum is less than $800 and not only includes upgraded shocks but new upgraded coils as well and you will be much better off.

This. Exactly.

I would never touch RC, not even for free.

Literally every one of their kits out there ends up getting replaced once the owner realizes it for the junk it is. Sooner or later, it always happens.

And a spacer kit this massive, for this price? You could do a LOT better for not much more money.

Lucky for you the suspension performance of your vehicle has already been downgraded from stock by using a spacer lift. So no point in correcting caster or strengthening the setup by using an aftermarket UCA. Since in the end it will never see offroad use.
