Does anyone regret cutting their front bumper for clearance?
The title says it all. I am about to cut my front bumper for the stage 2 clearance wings by SSO. Just wondering before I start chopping it up if anyone regrets doing so. I have seen a couple on here where the cut/lines did not look as good. I am also a little concerned about leaving numerous components without at least some protection afforded by the plastic bumper. Just looking for thoughts before I fire up the saw.

Yup. Reminds me of Goofy from every other angle. To each their own.

I sold my Stage 2 stuff as soon as it came in. I like the homemade cuts people are doing better and I can always wait on that.

nope, finally got rid of my rubbing issues and I kept my liner. I wish I took more time lining on the cuts, but no one else notices that they are a hair off

I was all about it for a hot minute but I kept backing down from doing it. The more I look at it the less I like the look, especially from the sides. I don't like the idea of the direct exposure of the front-end like that either. No regrets because I never went through with it, but if I had I would have regretted it. That said, I understand why others do it and like it.

I opted to do the cut myself without the SSO wings. I picked a middle-of-the-road approach to the cut, not quite as aggressive as the SSO high clearance kit requires. I think it turned out really well.

Mine is also a fairly conservative cut and I did a slightly less aggressive angle where it makes the turn for the wheel well. I have no regrets and like the look.

+1 for pics of the molded liner! I've been wondering if molding was possible since everyone who seems to do this mod, cuts it, which I don't really want to do.

Looks about the same as my cut.
